But the mod only shows the straight numbers for many quest types--"69", "80", etc, despite the text in the description. As you mention, for a long time, the API has been there to be able to be able to provide extra indicators beside the numbers to show if a quest is a daily, heroic daily, group quest and so on. Such as "80H" or "80..." for a heroic daily and so on.

Most mods of this type have provided these indicator modifiers as do those that still work in 3.2: Fizzwidget Levelator & more complex quest mods like QuestGuru and BetterQuest. They make noticing what type of quest one is much faster than looking over to the right side to read the text. So would be nice to see some style of indicators for the ones with level, but different from standard quests added to this .
The thing is that I don't like those indicators, and other people may not like them as well.
I may make a separate addon to add those indicators, but, for now, I advice you to use some simple addon, like Fizzwidget Levelator.

Not sure why he had a print in there. Probably for debugging purposes.
The bug has been fixed with version 6.1. And yes, it was there for debugging purposes.

Sorry for the inconvenience.

Same issue.

I aswell am having the same issue with the grotesque amount of spam Level Display is pumping out when-ever I mouse over anything (bag, bar, profession windows, etc). And after extensive testing, I concluded it's a conflict with ArkInventory (just as Shdwphnx had commented).

I have not done truly extensive testing but I have found that if I disable everything but Level Display, the issue does not occur. Same bug here with r6 in WoW 3.2.0. It only has occurred when mousing over quest rewards in the quest giver frame so far.

This is when running nothing else that affects the quest log or giver frame. The only thing running which "affects" link tooltips is tekkompare (Aug 5/09 master branch).

Nope I don't use any other addon that changes the Questlog Frame or link tooltips... (TipTac is another candidate that might be in conflict with Level Display)
Just FYI when using Fizzwidget Levelator i don't have any problems whatsoever... The only thing that bugs me with Levelator (as with any other show-the-quest-level addon) is that it shows levels even for quests that don't have any (e.g. [-1] Call to Arms: Warsong Gulch)

Ludwig? Mendeleev? (These come to mind as well)

I think it might be a problem on your end though since something you might have altered causes the issue. Like I mentioned earlier when using 5.1 and with all of my other addons enabled, I didn't have the enless spam of abilities/items/whatever being shown as clicable links in chat, so what you have altered for v6 might be the culprit... Don't really know how else I can help out. Just let me know what info might be of use to you and I'll be more than happy to provide.

At first I thought this wasn't a bug caused by Level Display but then I realised it was the last addon I had installed, so I disabled it to test things out and voila the bug was gone. So yes, I'm being pretty positive the culprit behind this weird bug is Level Display

BTW I'm using Prat if this is of any use, so I guess Level Display and Prat might conflict with one another? As the abilities/items/whatever are being printed as links in the chat frame... Still when I used v5.1 of your addon nothing like that happened (but for the bug I mentioned in my original post...)
Please try to disable Prat and see if the bug persists.
