WIM (WoW Instant Messenger) is a World of Warcraft addon which helps you to manage your whispers by making them into a classic instant messenger interface such as AIM, Yahoo and MSN.

With game play in mind, WIM has a large array of options where you can customize how WIM interacts during different situations, such as while you are in combat or in town talking to friends or selling your crafts.

I created a special options window for WIM because WoW's UI didn't not suite my needs for how I was laying out everything. So the answer is no for that request. sorry.

I currently am using Whisp and am liking how WIM looks minus one feature that Whisp has. When you hit R to reply to someone in whisp it'll show the past 8 to 10 whispers you've had with that person in a window just above the input bar. I was wondering if that is an option in WIM that I have missed, or something you might be implementing in the future. I find it quite handy when replying to someone as I don't actually use the WIM windows except when going thru chat history for the most part, and use it more as a notification / history log. Thanks for your time.

When I try to talk to a GM WIM reports "no player named GM online" and i can't answer him until i deactivated WIM (seems to be a Problem with the new protected GM Chat window) 2. After opening Tabs to several players i have sometimes the problem of a player with a double tab. As soon as this occurs i can't talk to anybody and i have to reload my UI...

The chat section you are referring to is just a provision i added to the options so it'll be ready when I add the chat module for WIM. Sorry... I guess consider it a teaser?

It will get to where when I start using shift to close chat windows, when I get down to the last three, it won't close them, and then it triples them all up to one person. So I'll have tabs left open that I can't close, and they all go to the same person. Additionally, I've been having some issues where I'll type something into one of the chat windows and it will get sent to someone else from the list of recent whispers. The correct name and class are on the window, but replies start coming from someone else. Even if I use the default reply in the blizzard chat box, the intercept sends it to someone else. PS - What happened to copy and paste with BB code so that you could paste chat in the right colors into forums? That was one of my favorite features!
