Boda UI - Discontinued.  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)

Version: 4.2
by: Bodasafa [More]

Great news everyone! I plan on returning to the game in WoD and releasing this UI publicly again! Stay tuned!

Announcements
• Version 4.2 is now Live! Changes include a master font for the entire game to complete the look and a few minor tweaks. Also a new DBM skin for the bars. To download that by itself check out my Boda UI - DBM Skin.

• The resolution for this UI is 1920x1080 and will only be released for that resolution. If you wish to use this UI for a different resolution you will have to unlock and move the addons yourself. The time it takes to do this depends on your working knowledge of addons in general. Though with the new centered layout, most anyone should have to move is the stuff in the top right corner. I also recommend reading the "Different Resolutions" section of my Guide linked in the "Help and Support" section below.

• This UI is specifically designed for a Warrior Tank in Raiding situations. However many users of different Classes and Specs have been able to modify it so suit their needs. Since moving to Raven (which controls all buffs and debuffs) it should automatically show your specific debuffs on your target and your specific active cooldowns. You should only need to Blacklist the things you do not want shown.

• I do not use a player portrait. Icehud displays my health and rage so a duplicate of that is wasted screen space. You should keybind “Target Self” to a key. When you press this key you will see “You” in the Target frame. You then right click this frame to get all the options you would via a normal player portrait.

Installation
• Backup and then delete your WTF and Interface Folders.
• Download the UI and put the new WTF and Interface Folders in.
• Rename the appropriate folders with YOUR information.
• Your Account Name
• Your Server Name
• Your Character Name
• For a more detailed explanation on how to install a User Interface refer to my guide linked in the “Help and Support” section below.

In Game Set Up
• Login and stop at the character selection screen.
• Click the Addons button in the lower left corner and enable all addons.
• Once inside the game type the following slash commands and select the BodaUI profile for each.
/buttonfacade
/bt
/chatter
/chinchilla
/icehud
/kgpanels config
/msbt
/mbf
/omen
/pitbull
/raven
/recount
/sldatatext
/suf
/tidyplates (and expand the threat plates selection)
• Once all profiles are set reload your UI. Some addons will not appear set such as Chinchilla until you do this.
• Log out to save the profiles.
• Check for updates to all addons. Once all addons have been updated, log in, change your keybindings/macros and your done!
• Every time you update DBM you need to re-skin, its very easy. For instructions check out Boda UI - DBM Skin.

Special Thanks Goes Out To
• Wowinterface.com for hosting my UI.
• Tankspot.com for hosting my discussion thread.
• The AddOn authors that created the mods used in this UI.

4.0.1 Release is now Live!
All addons are up to date. Only 1 addon has minor issues, Cael Nameplates. If you like just remove it and put in a new nameplate mod. Everything in this pack is up to date as of 11/03/10. This will likely be my last release till Cataclysm, so continue to update mods in this pack as they become available.

Hello Everyone,

Boda, nice UI i liked it much since first time i saw it. My laptop is 16:9 so i can't use your resolution, but i made some changes and now it looks awesome. DXE addon stucked but i'll work on it to fix. Also, i have change some others things to make it look so good as urs, but haven't free time to do this. Here is a screenshot

http://img843.imageshack.us/img843/2...0710231128.jpg

It's 1366x768 resolution but still looks good for me.

Really awesome Job! so thanks,

My regards,
Krugen

On the target frame I only show buffs, basically to see if the boss I'm tanking gains something I need to watch out for.

So what you will want to do is open pitbull config and select "Target" for the layout. Then go to the "auras" tab and then "debuffs". You should be able to sort it out from there. If not I would recommend looking at the download page for the addon Pitbull itself (linked at the bottom of my download page in the addons list) for more help.

Thumbs up RE: Amazing.

Just registered to say thank you for the great work compiling these addons. Tried a whole bunch of class specific addons and the ones I tried were all kind of cluttery.

This is very elegant and minimalistic... in fact perfect! Great work Boda!

Question

Hi Bodasafa,

Thank you for the great UI. I have a tiny question. I'm sitting in Dalaran, trying to get a pet bar to come back with pitbull. I can't seem to get the health bar for my pet with the Boda UI profile. Tried enabling everything in Pitbull... would you be able to give me a hint where to look?

Sorry for the nonrelated question as this is really Pitbull setup.

I really like the look of this UI. Neat and clean and it leaves most of the screen open, which is a huge plus for me. I did have to modify it a little to meet the needs of a rogue, but very very little. I do have like 2 small problems though.

How do I move the "Status Window"? Mine is up a tad, half way in that little box.

In the "SBF - Debuffs on Target" box, I can not get anything to come up in the box...i.e. expose armor. Is there a way to add bleeds and poisons?

edit: one problem solved...2 remaining

I suggest clicking the link at the bottom of my download page for Pitbull and checking there. I don't use pets.

I no longer use Status Window. I now use SLData Text.

IIRC SLData text has an unlock in the config. I'm not in game right now so can't check. For SBF you want to white list the spells you want to show. You will have to hit a training dummy or mob to populate the list with all your spells. Then open the SBF config and select the proper drop down (Debuffs on Target) and go to the spells tab. Look for the spell you want and click it, then check "show this buff". If you want it to only show when you cast it check "cast by me".

If you need more info both your questions can be answered by clicking the links to those addons at the bottom of my download page.

registered just to thank you for putting together and maintaining such an awesome UI pack. Your UI is head and shoulders above anything I ever came up with myself, and I really couldn't see myself using any other setup.
Thanks!
