Cowsay

Currently a very rudimentary implementation of cowsay. Supports single-line messages only. Assumes the chat frame is using the default font (may appear strangely on other fonts).

The code is somewhat ugly and hackish at the moment, because of the limitations of font strings and text in WoW. I'll get around to coming up with a more elegant system, including better code and multi-line support, eventually.

For users:
To use it, type /cowsay some phrase. The option "-f" is given to choose between different ASCII "cows": /cowsay -f cowname some phrase. Currently, only one cow exists, named "cow", which is the default cow.

For developers:
See cowsay.lua for API. Support exists for registering additional cows. The entire system may and probably will change in the future, when I eventually get around to giving it attention.
