    Cartographer_QuestInfo is a quest library module for Cartographer.

    Cartographer_QuestInfo has built-in database for quests, no need to record quest first, you get the info instantly.

    • Provide info for nearly every quest. Quest info are data mined from wowhead/allakhazam/wowbox website, so it is almost complete and up-to-date.
    • Provide quest start and end npc or item info, you get the name and location.
    • Provide quest objective info, you get the mob level and location.
    • Provide quest series info.
    • Make quest log double wide.
    • Add quest level to quest log and NPC dialog.
    • Works on enUS, frFR, deDE, esES, koKR, ruRU, zhCN, zhTW client.

    quest log not expanding
    when using this my questlog does not scroll or expand here is a SS of what i mean:

    Anyway, try to disbale "Make quest log double wide" feature in Cartographer_QuestInfo setting should solve your problem.

    ok ill try that the only other addon for my questlog is doublewide so if CQI has that already might be why. ill go see.

    that worked it was because i pretty muchhad two of the same things going on. i did not know CQI did do doublewide also perfect thanks

    I have no access to English client.
    But it is not too hard to tell what it does to quest log.
    Try it by yourself, it is dead simple to use.
    And, YES! It contains info for almost every quest. (as long as wowhead has it)

    I've been trying to use this addon because its so great, but I keep getting this error and it gets annoying. Help please.

    Please try the new 2.4.2.0613 version.
    It should bypass the problem. (not really a fix, but it should work)

    Help with an error?
    I tried posting this on the wowace forums and then realized I dont think I have ever seen the author post there.

    I'm getting this error:

    [2008/06/17 15:50:28-3775-x1]: Cartographer_QuestInfo\Map.lua:41: attempt to index local 'CN' (a nil value)

    and QuestInfo won't load at all...unless I have Cartographer_QuestObjectives also running. I have it installed (and all my addons) with externals. I was hoping I could use this as a QuestObjectives replacement...
    I guess my question is, am I supposed to have to have QuestObjectives running along with QuestInfo or is something borked?

    No, you don't have to install QuestObjectives.

    The problem is probably you install Cartographer sub modules as LOD (load-on-demand) module, and QuestInfo does not list Cartographer_Notes as OptionalDeps.

    So all you need to do is to make sure Cartographer_Notes is loaded before Cartographer_QuestInfo.

    You can:

    1. Re-install Cartographer as a whole, with all built-in modules reside in Cartographer sub folder. (try download the zip from wowinterface or wowace, the unzip it; wowace updater with some setting may auto expand lod modules, that is the cause of problem)

    2. or, you can list Cartographer_Notes as OptionalDeps by modifying Cartographer_QuestInfo.toc manually. (There are probably more build-in modules need to be listed)

    3. or, wait until I test it with LOD module setup, then I will post a new working version.
