TualaUI For Raiding Hunters (1680x1050) (Outdated)

Version: 1.1
by: Miranda2r14 [More]

**This UI is very outdated and I have no plans to return to WoW to update it.**

TualaUI is a complete interface replacement package designed for the raiding hunter. It is optimized for a 1680x1050 widescreen monitor, if this is not your native resolution you will have to manually move the UI elements into place. The package uses a memory footprint of ~16-20MiB.

---Installation Instructions---
Before you begin I highly recommend you back-up and delete your existing Interface, WTF and Font folders.

1. Click the download button on the right and save TualaUI to your desktop
2. Open TualaUI via WinRAR or an another ZIP program.
3. Drag the Interface, WTF, and Fonts folders into your World of Warcraft directory. Click yes if it asks you to overwrite.
4. Open the WTF folder, rename ACCOUNTNAME (All Caps) to your account name.
5. Open your account folder, rename ServerName (i.e. Korialstrasz).
6. Open your server name, rename CharacterName (i.e. Tuala).
7. Load World of Warcraft, login to your account, make sure "Load Outdated Addons" is checked.
8. Type /reflux switch MirUI (Case sensitive!)
**You'll have to manually move the chat window into place**

---Optional Macros---
I have included the text file that contains all of the macros I use on my hunter. To use it, move the macros-cache from the OPTIONAL MACROS folder to WTF>Account>ACCOUNTNAME>Servername>Charactername. When/if asked to replace click yes. It's always a good idea to back up your existing file first.

---Included Add-Ons---

  • _Cursor - Never lose your cursor mid-fight again! Plus it's pretty *smile*
  • Bagnon - Versatile inventory enchancement mod.
  • Bartender4 - Replaces Blizzard action bars and provides multiple additional bars.
  • BasicMiniMap - Move/Resize and change the shape of the mini-map.
  • ButtonFacade w/Onyx Skin - Makes buttons and buff icons pretty.
  • Cellular - Whisper mod that creates a new window so you never miss whispers.
  • Chatter - Changes the look and functionality of the chat windows.
  • DeadlyBossMods - Handy raid warnings. RUN AWAY LITTLE GIRL!
  • ErrorMonster - Reroutes and suppresses red error text. Set to show in the notification box of MSBT.
  • Faceroller - A visual indicator of the hunter shot priority.
  • ForteXorcist - Cooldown/Spell timer monitor.
  • Grid w/ Mana Bars - Shows a small, condensed grid of your raid members heatlh/mana/debuffs etc...
  • KgPanels - Imports custom art and panels into the UI.
  • MikScrollingBattleText - Combat Text replacement
  • MoveAnything - Moves any UI element.
  • pHish Media - Additional textures
  • Postal - One click mail retrieval
  • PowerAuras - Tracks custom buffs and conditionals.
  • Quartz - Castbars
  • Reflux - Uses the profile system to make setting up your UI much easier.
  • Satrina Buff Frames - Replaces Blizzard buff icons.
  • Sellfish/Sell-O-Matic - One click to sell grey items and anything you add to a custom list.
  • SharedMedia - Additional fonts and textures.
  • Skada - Damage meter and threat meter in one. Automatically switches when you are in and out of combat.
  • Skinner - Changes the look of the game windows.
  • SLDataText - Useful information displayed on screen.
  • SpeedyActions - Causes abilities to be used upon key press instead of key release.
  • Stuf - Replaces the Blizzard unit frames.
  • TargetForMe - Aids in swiftly and correctly targeting the most important mob in an encounter.
  • tekKompare - Compare items you inspect to what you currently have equipped.
  • TidyPlates/ThreatPlates - Replaces the Blizzard nameplates with Threat sensitive ones.
  • TipTac - Tooltip enhancement.
  • TomTom - Direction waypoint arrows. Handy for finding your dead body.
  • XPBarNone - An xp bar for your alts!

A few notes on Bartender. Bars 1 & 2 are the main visable bars. Bars 3 & 4 are located in the bottom left corner and are permanently hidden. These bars are for macro'd skills that you use but do not need to see or click. Bar 10 is in the lower right corner and shows on mouseover, I put consumables and tradeskill buttons here. Bar 5 has a custom conditional to show only when a fishing rod is equipped, so if you fish equip a pole and drag it from your character screen to the bar over your head. Bar 6 is for parachutes to make them easy to click off and shows up in the same location as the fishing one. The others are set to page based on stance (not used on hunter but maybe you have alts, I have a druid.)

---Known Issues---
The quest tracker is cut off due to using MoveAnything to reposition it. I use a macro to resize and fix it. Copy and paste this into a new macro and drag it to a hotbar.
/script WatchFrame:SetHeight(625)
/script WatchFrame:SetWidth(250)
/script WatchFrame_ClearDisplay()
/script WatchFrame_Update(WatchFrame)

THANK YOU to all of the mod authors who continually innovate and inspire us with their hard work. Much love ♥

---6/16/10--- Added an optional folder that includes the text file containing all of the macros I use on my hunter.

I just downloaded it to make sure and I see Fonts, Interface, WTF and README. Not sure why the whole thing didn't download for you.

This time it worked. Thanks. I did not encounter errors in the earlier download that's why I had to let you now.

Good job, btw!

Skinner has 2 main sub-directories; AddonSkins and SkinMe.

All the skins for individual Addons are in the AddonSkins directory and the SkinMe directory is empty, apart from a placeholder file

To skin an Addon copy/move the file with the matching name from the AddonSkins directory into the SkinMe directory.
To unskin a skinned Addon, remove its file from the SkinMe directory.
These changes will only come into effect after WoW is restarted not just reloaded.

If the files were directly copied as I uploaded them I'm not sure why you're having this message come up as it should only happen with a fresh Skinner install that hasn't been modified. Try moving the files yourself, should fix it.

It's the background of the power bar. Mana users will have the grey deplete as they go OOM leaving pink behind. Warriors will be fully pink unless they are generating rage in which the grey will fill up. MOBs with no power are always pink.

Hey glad you like it I've made a few small positional changes on some elements and changed a border texture or two, so I will go ahead and do a quick update that will include an optional text file that contains all of my macros.

Wow..
Thanks for this.

Edit: One other thing.. You should really consider uploading this to 'Generic Compilations'!
Normally I never check class comps because they're usually a bit cheesy.. but yours was definitely a diamond in the rough.
