    stText Folks

    What is this

    stText_Folks is an optional plugin for stText.
    It adds a Guild and a Friend plugin with a tooltip to see which friend are online and some informations about them.

    And that's all

    Issues

    • Guild text not always updating on login

    You could force the GMOTD string to wrap lines in your tooltip.

    Honestly can't find any reference to any guild and friends code whatsoever in this plugin? Or am i totally missing something?

    Maybe this comment belongs in the comment section of the main addon, but too late now :P

    Well I was thinking of adding /stt help as a command but /stt alone could be also good

    First, I love stText. Gives me all the info I want without lots of clutter. Very easy to setup exactly the way I like it.

    Three minor feature requests for this module -

    Enable/disable Friends and Guild separately. Not all of my characters are in a guild, but I still like to see which of my friends are on.

    The ability to click on someone's name in the guild/friends tooltip and open a whisper to them. SLDataText has this functionality, plus a couple other click actions.

    Guild rank in the tooltip. It'd make it a lot easier to see if there's an officer on, particularly in a large guild where you might not remember every officer and all their alts.

    Just change the value and that'll be ok.

    To open a whisper by clicking on a name, I don't think that I'll make this possible because I want to use the default tooltip which cannot have this features. But I can manage a dropdown to look like a tooltip that may be possible.

    The Guildinfo wont update until i open the guild-info-window myself.

    That's pretty odd, I use it all the time and I never got such problem.

    What are the other addons used when this occurs ?

    but by mousover on friends / guild it will crash immediatly
