Ampere  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)

Version: 3.1.0.15-Release
by: Tekkub [More]

Ampere is a small addon designed to mirror the functionality of the login screen "Addons" button in-game. It's designed to fit inside the config GUI introduced in patch 2.4. Ampere lets you quickly enable and disable addons, reload the UI, and load LoadOnDemand addons.

This may be a stupid question, but is there a slash command to bring up the ampere menu, or do I have to hit escape, go to interface-- addons--ampere? i used to use ACP but am trying this out as I don't need the extra features of ACP, but I've tried /ampere /amp, /ap etc and nothing works

Ampere!

Thank you for such a wonderful addon.

I was wondering though if you were planning on updating it anytime soon?

Lately i've had issues where enabling/disabling a single addon on one guy (in-game through ampere), will actually enable/disable the mod for all of my guys.

Anyone else having this problem? It's only been happening within the last 2 weeks.

Edit: just noticed a beta version in 'additional files'. i'll give that a try and post results.

Edit 2: the beta version fixed my issue. Although not a big fan of the new way addons are displayed, i liked the checkboxes. really hard to tell which ones are on and off, especially when addons use colored text for their name

I sometimes have the same problem, but even with the addon menu on the character select screen. I think it has to do with first-time state changes, even when you selected a single character and e.g. deactivated a new addon, it was deactivated for all characters. Blizz has a weird storage for that.

For those wanting the old, far superior "checkbox" layout, Tekkub has put out an updated release compatible with WoW 4.2+'s larger Inteface/Options panel on his Github as well as Curse & WowAce. Its the 4.1.0.16-Beta version.

Looks like that will be the last one with the old, superior layout. The newer v4.1.0.17-Beta & later Github builds use the (awful) new "highlighted pushbutton" layout. Which is a shame; its much (much) easier to see what's enabled or disabled at a glance with the older checkbox layout.

Thnx for that Zidomo. I really like this mod, better than the couple others out there that do similar things. Totally agree with you about the highlighting feature... checkboxes ftw!
