Not sure if this is possible or maybe I am doing something wrong. But, Is there a way that GC can remember. Meaning that in the attendees area, there is an assigned raid leader before the raid starts or after function. Then once the leader is assigned if the raid has not started it will remember who is in the raid at the time if the raid start and keep track of all attendees and log leave times if the raid leader has not used the end raid function. So that each event has a permantly remembered raid attendance.

I only ask cause only about 30% of members that raid, sign up. so unless I manually enter the attendees I do not know who actually came. then, some people leave early and we fill there spots with late comers. Also sometimes our raids run late or end early. Would be nice to be able have this function. Maybe it is there cause it sure seem slike it does, feel wise anyways.

Thanks again though for a great mod.

Excellent Addon! Our guild can't do without it. It's great to have something that is easy enough for non-addon-litterate guildmates to install and understand. GEM has its advantages, but ease of use isn't one of them. Using this along with CT_Raid will give you most (if not all) of the functionality that you get from GEM minus almost all of the hastle.

In response to a previous poster, CT_Raid will track who showed up, and when they joined and left, while Group Calendar makes the pre-raid scheduling a bit easier.

Thanks for a great mod!

Regards,

Katherine

I use a mod the removes the day/night icon on the minimap. Do you think you can do a FuBar icon just to bring up GroupCalender?

Groupcalendar

Many people in my guild started using this at v3.1, often they end up posting major amounts of raw data in general chat for some reason. While its quite amusing to people in the major cities sooner or later someone is going to get banned I assume. Especially if they login and during loading they step away from the keyboard.

I dont reall have this problem, sadly its likely because I nearly only logout for Tuesday maintence it seems.

We have our data in the guild information tab put there by the program. It works great minus these issues. The solution we are using is logout, delete the Groupcalendar.* files and relogin.

In the end:

groupcalendar doesnt join customchannel+password
groupcalendar doesnt error on this
groupcalendar binds to general (even though it didnt need a password)
groupcalendar attempts to sync in general
in the above general can be replaced with whatever you have for your /1 channel

I don't know what WoW changed that is causing this to happen, but there have been sporadic reports of it since patch 2.0. I put new code in 3.2 which changes the way the channel ID is retrieved (it's done later in case the ID returned when joining isn't really the right one). Have them try that and see if the problem clears up.

I'd like to take this opportunity to announce that I am leaving World of Warcraft and tip my hat to everyone whose game play was made more enjoyable by Group Calendar and Outfitter. I'd like to thank those who appreciated the value of these addons and posted generous complements. I'd especially like to thank those who felt compelled to contribute donations to show their appreciation over the past 18 months: Michel, Carlos, Michael, Gregory, Claire, Thomas, Jefferson. Elisabeth, Cheryl, and Angela. Many people feel compelled to demand features and changes and sometimes made developing/debugging/supporting these addons feel like more trouble than they're worth, but those of you who expressed your gratitude verbally or financially are the ones who truely made it rewarding and made me want to continue.

I'll continue working on any minor bugs which come up in the next couple of weeks as well as trying to find that last pesky bug that causes some Group Calendar users to have trouble viewing/attending events. The community of mod authors is a generous one and I hope that someone will pick up these projects and continue them in the same spirit that I've tried to.

Good luck to you all and happy adventures in Azeroth and Outlands!

- John

Any way to disable the "Karazhan resets" events? Don't want to see them.

Nope, sorry.

UPDATE: The next version of GC will only show one reset event for any dungeon on a 7 day timer. Currently it shows the next four resets, but for a weekly reset dungeon that's not very useful. It'll still show the next four for short reset dungeons. In both cases it will still only show the events if you're actively running those dungeons.
