Main purpose of creating this UI was to create a lightweight interface that runs on my shitty PC, without losing to much utility and without looking like crap.
The name simply comes from my oUF layout. This UI is build around it.
The UI basically doesn't need a setup ingame, since version 1.9. All custom settings can be done by lua.
oUF_Asym UI is made to work for 1440x900, it works out of the box for 1680x1050 and 1920x1200, ... should work for all widescreen resolutions.
It comes with A LOT of different bartextures and fonts, see oUF_Asym fonts/texture folder and dArt folder.
There is also some nice art to play around with located in dArt/Art.
i.e.
I don't use any UI scale at all. I don't have this option checked. Or in other words this UI is basically build around an UI scale of 1.0. If you are using another resolution as 1440x900, you might have to adjust your UI scale until it fits. |

Those keys are in the blizz keybinding menu. Look for "dBar", should be somewhere at the very bottom of the list.

I have been using this for a cuple of weeks, and I have to say I love it. The only thing I'm missing is party pet frames, except that, keep up the good work!

I realize that especially bars are something that is VERY custom and thus everyone should use what fits best for them. After all, I don't think Dominos is bad at all, it's just a lot of configuration code that is only needed once to set up the bars and then no more.
Adding micromenu and even bags shouldn't be hard for nMainbar, too. |

I'd love party targets as well.
for actionbars I might switch to ractionbarstyler. zork most of the time provides great support for his addons with frequent updates. while gryphons and stuff are cool to look at, that's just eye candy and most of the time I just need those bars and nothing else. also i kinda like a micromenu on mouseover, and zork included that in his latest ractionbarstyler build. dArt pannel on actionbars for me now works well I just anchored it to MultiBarBottomLeft, so strange behavior when switching stances is no longer an issue. little powerbar issue on oUF frames: if i'm in a major city or resting or do /rl I often have a full ragebar with my warrior until I use an ability that generates rage. very minor point of course.

Party Targets (and Pets) are not yet included. I'm having this on my ToDo list, though.

@Kayja
Move the stancebar with shift+alt+mousedragging. Take the line mouseover = { Stancebar = true in your nmainbarconfig.lua and change the value to false to always show the stancebar. I myself would want to get rid of the textures for the stancebar on my warrior as they look pretty ugly and don't fit the button icon at all. I hope I can do some raiding with nmainbar and ractionbarstyler this weekend, just by some testing in battlegrounds both don't convince me yet.

That's no real "issue" with the stances bar, it's just like nMainbar handles classbar/stancebar. You can move it around by holding Shift + Alt.
Think of all those bars as blizz action bars, just re-arranged. So options for unlocking are in your interface options > actionbars. Besides of that you can still drag spells out of locked bars by holding shift. All other bar configurations can be done in nMainbar's config lua. Chicchai handles the minimizing of chatframes. Delete it or disable it. However, kepp in mind, that borders and background of chatframes will be gone, too. @zecxx There should be timers coming from OmniCC, by default? A screenshot of what you mean whould help.

This is a fabulous complication pack, thank's a lot for putting it together. I personally use a 1360x768 resolution (aspect ratio 16:10), and it worked straight out of the box so to speak apart from I had to set the UI scale to 0.96 otherwise objects were overlapping... just wanted to let you know of that.
There is also a problem for a Warrior whereby the stances bar is just floating around hidden until you mouse over it, near the middle of the screen. How can I edit the action bars so I can disable or move the stances bar? Also I would like to unlock the action bars so I can move some skills around. [EDIT]: One more question after using the addon abit.. How can I get rid of the chat window minimising itself? I like how it does that, but it does a bad job of it, and if the text line that is said next is bigger than 1 line it just pastes the rest of it into thin air around the box and it looks rubbish.
