Threat Plates (TP for short) is a addon for customizing your nameplates. It offers a high amount of customization and tweaks to how your nameplates react and look. It also offers some unique features that are not available with any other nameplate addon. I've spent a considerable amount of time improving this addon and any comments or concerns about this addon are appreciated. I'm always looking for ways to improve this addon.

Features:

SharedMedia support and many, many, options for name, health, level, and spell text. As well as all of the standard nameplate features such as castbar and icon, elite icons / textures, skull icons / textures, raid marks, and healthbar coloring/alpha/scale.
Ace3 profiling.
Low memory footprint.
Threat system management.
Automatic talent detection and role assigning for an easy out of the box setup.
Customizable widgets.
Customizable totem nameplates.
Customizable nameplates for extra customization for specifically named units.

Commands:

/tptp - Displays options.
/tptptoggle - Toggle Role from one to the other.
/tptpdps - Toggles DPS/Healing threat plates.
/tptptank - Toggles Tank threat plates.
/tptpol - Toggles nameplate overlapping.
/tptpverbose - Toggles addon feedback text.

A considerable amount of information about options and its internal priorities are not gone into details. Most options that are enable or disable based will toggle off options that are no longer changeable once enabled or disabled. If you're using the latest Tidy Plates Beta build I need to update this theme for it or massive amounts of text objects are made on all the nameplates.

Read previous post, and castbars will take some time to be able to accomplish that. It's not a default feature of the blizzard nameplates.

Yeah, i just wasn't sure if you were talking about the icon option only, or the option to hide them as well.

This code needs to be changed to fix the overlapping name plate text bug that's happening with the latest tidyplates. I tried this fix and it does work.

This fix was posted by danltiger.

The name text issues are ThreatPlates; The name text is handled by a custom widget. That widget is repeatedly created, as the Initialize function doesn't check to see if it already exists.

TidyPlates_ThreatPlates\Widgets\Widgets.lua, line 24+:

... should correct the name text issues.

Not sure about the laggishness. That might be caused by that widget memory leak+garbage collection.

It's actually my fault, though; I changed Tidy Plates so the OnInitialize function gets called every time a plate is shown (rather than just when the plate is created; the frames are recycled), reducing the need for the OnUpdate function to check for the existence of the widget. aaand, of course, I was tired and "forgot" to post the changelog.
