BurxUI

Version: 1.6.2
by: Gevil [More]

Updated for Cataclysm!
I've made some separate Profiles named 'burx' for easier loading on alts on the addons that support profiling.
The UI is optimally set for the resolution below with the UI scale mentioned.

This Addon pack is aimed for those who know their way around LUA editing if it's needed. Some of the Addons can only be configured through LUA and will break on different resolutions and UI scales!

Damage meters or omen is not included anymore. The pack contains settings for skada and recount aswell though.

<See it in action!>

Settings:
config.wtf - for 1920*1080 reolution:
SET useuiscale "1"
SET uiScale "0.69999998807907"

v1.6.2
* More Addons updated*
* oUF_Qulight: Added party frames when in non healingframes mode for arena and 5mans. Some tweaks and settings added here and there. Pet Happiness nuked.
* qMinimap Update

v1.6.1
*Updates and slight tweaks*

v1.6.0 - A bit of a redesign / Cleanup
- WIM is out since I found no use for it anymore.
* Pitbull4 replaced by a customised version of oUF_Qulight. Kept Pitbull's settings in the pack if you want to keep using it.
* Removed some PvP addons liek Gladius, and SpellAlert, you can get them separately if needed, settings are kept.
- DXE settings are out
+ bTooltip is added in place of tiptac its a smaller version of it basicly that I've put together.
+ SimpleBuffBars is back in business. I've managed to remove the tracking part of it so it doesn't throw errors anymore and clicking off buffs works once again yay!
* SharedMedia got a bit of a revamp cleaned it out a bit of some totally useless textures.
- Grid2 is out since the oUF layout has very nice raidframes. If you preferred Grid settings are kept in there.

v1.5.1 - 4.0.6 Update and PvP addons included.
* Updated everything to it's latest as of 4.0.6
+ Gladius, AutoLagTolerance, LLpvpstate, Balyn's SpellAlert, RaidWatch2, NoBOPWarning, Smart Targeting
- DXE, settings are kept

v1.5 - Massive Update and redesign for Cataclysm 4.0.3a
* Pitbull is back in OUF is out. I simply like it more and made a new design again ;)
- Power Auras no longer included, probably going to switch to weak auras in the future.
* Simple Buff Bars replaced by bBuffBars. Custom version for my exact resolution and UIscale so if u don't have the same setup as I do you'll need quite a bit of LUA editing to do or switch it with some other buffbar addon.
* gChat is gone only Prat remains.
- Omen is gone was just taking up space on my screen, maybe will get it back later on.

v1.4
* Some minor tweaks and settings here 'n' there.
* Updated Addons to date.
+ Added Prat so you can choose between the 2 chat addons whichever you prefer gchat is more lightweight.
+ New kgPanels design, got a bit tired of the old one :)
+ New PowerAuras layout for my hunter needs some documentation later on (some new Cataclysm textures for spedific buffs and debuffs on target and own procs and infos shown in an ellipsis around the character with different colors).

v1.3
- Pitbull 4
+ A trimmed, custom version of oUF_Caellian (Great unitframes btw :) ) this gained me a couple fps in raids.
+ gChat 1.5 with some values and stuff adjusted in it's code, still having some weird editbox hiding issues with it o.o
The biggest change is just the unitframes and everything else adjusted to it, also all addons have been updated to their latest to date.
Addons and Frames rearranged to fit the new oUF layout etc.
Added a huge amount of textures, fonts and other stuff to SharedMedia it got pretty big, but shouldn't matter much, it's not increasing memory usage anyways and you got a lot of options to choose for textures.

v1.2.1
- Removed MoveAnything
* Legacy addon new functions:
+ Hardcoded positioning of the WorldStateAlwaysUpFrame below the minimap in the center.
+ Hides the red error frames automatically.
- Removed a couple unused pitbull modules. Aggro, DogTagTexts, etc

v1.2
- Replaced Prat with gChat for lesser cpu usage and added some custom code to allow nearly the same functionality which I missed.
- Added AVR and RaidWatch2 settings, except the addons if some prefer those instead of DXE.
- A couple new textures and fonts added into sharedmedia and commented out the ones not actively used atm.
- Replaced Quartz3 with Gnosis just for fun :)

v1.1
- Replaced Bagnon with OneBag3 and OneBank3 due to CPU efficiency.
- Included Tekkub's "TeksLoot" as an alternative to XLoot. (Xloot is still there for LootMasters cuz it's functions are quite useful.)
- Included Ferous Media Pack (Some pretty textures in there.)
- Replaced ButtonFacade with rActionButtonStyler due to CPU Efficiency and ported the Darion Style to it.
- Removed ClearFont2 due to some issues with some addons and not really missing it anyway :P
- Replaced Grid with Grid2 since I've withnessed some better performance with Grid2 in raids. (If there are issues with it since it's still in alpha just pop back Grid from v1.0)
- Added Multishot to take screenshots from bosskills autmatically, cuz i always forget to take them on new boss kills.
- Added OptionHouse to test performance and CPU usage of addons and makes turning on/off addons easier.
- Added RaidTracker for Raidleaders. (if u don't use it just don't turn it on. :P)
- Replaced CowTip with TipTac due to CPU efficiency and CowTip_LueTexts bugging around the place O.o
- Disabled quite a few modules in Prat since I didn't use them at all.

++ Updated Nearly all addons to the current date. ++
++ Performance should increase by a nice margin from the first release. ++

v1.0
First Release:
Todos: Trim some Addons, decrease CPU usage, find alternatives for buggy/CPU heavy AddOns!

Re, UI scale Problems

I'll remake the whole thing and try to fix the UI scaling part for different resolutions.

I' just got used to my action bars being this way and tracking all of my cooldowns there in the middle, the holes are just like separators for different stuff

Prettymuch yes

I'm playing @1680*1050
Though you can probably mess around a bit with UI-scale and rearrange addons a bit if you're on a wide-screen.

goodwork.
Thnx I really love that new design aswell under construction, tho some things i have to get rid of first from that pack, liek sorting out those ForteXorcist bars since in raid they take up the middle of the screen which is insanely ugly :< and the same happens with debuffs on the target. Also gotta figure out a couple more things, like how to get inline auras to work with the bartender in that environment or possibly replace with dominos and rewrite some stuff there. Ah well, we'll see later on

Actually the problem isn't exactly addons, but not using them helps sometimes.
Basicly anything that is actively scanning your combatlog (addon) like MSBT, Parrot, any scrolling combat text, recount, dmg meters of any kind etc will hurt your perfomrance if you don't have a killer CPU. Memory usually isn't a problem nowadays as long as you have around 2-4 GBs of it. Memory speed can be a bit of a problem, DDR2 800mhz is recommended at least. So far the only CPU's i heard wow was running smoothly in 25man raids with addons on is the category of new i7 processors.

I can suggests a nice UI pack tho which is lightweight and still stylish with most of the useful features: TukUI

It's basicly custom written stuff, only configurable from editing lua script directly except a few things.

Post DPS UI ;>

Indeed it was designed to be a DPS UI

However if you redesign it a bit to have grid larger in the place of the current spelltimers and move those to somewhere else it might serve to be good for healers aswell.
