Malarkey

Description:

This is my first AddOn and its concept is very simple, it automatically summons a random companion pet everytime you login or change zone, unless you happen to be mounted or stealthed. Perfect for pet collectionists!



Features:

• Summons a random companion pet at login or zone change (unless mounted or stealthed).
• Automatically detects at first login whether the character owns any companion pets or not, and shuts down if none are found (if such a character later acquires companions and you wish to enable the addon, it will need to be done manually via /malarkey - Automatic detection only happens once per character).
• When disabled the addon will be inactive but remains available via /malarkey for future use.

• This addon works on a very simple concept. It's pure RNG that selects which pet to summon and it could well be that it'll chose to summon the same pet that you currently have out. In that case, your summoned companion will instead be dismissed. The more companions you own though, the less likely this is to happen.
  I'm sorry that I haven't gotten around to preventing that from happening, but this is just a bit of an experiment at this stage. I might get around to solving this issue at some point in the future but no promisses there.
• The only other potential issue is that it has noway of omitting special pets such as the Winter Veil ones that require a special reagent to summon, so you might occasionaly get a missing reagent error & no companion summoned.
