    Cellular is an instant messenger mod (for only whispers) based on the functionality of an old version of ForgottenChat.

    Features:

    • Many appearance options

    How to Use:
    • "/cellular", check Interface Options->AddOns, or right-click a window for options
    • Left-click a window to toggle the editbox
    • Left-click a tab to activate it
    • Shift-left-click and drag a window to move
    • Shift-left-click and drag bottom-right corner to resize
    • Right-click a tab for show/close/options dropdown
    • Middle-click a tab to close
    • Hold ctrl and close any window/tab to quick remove from history
    • Several convenient buttons (some require shift clicking for confirmation reasons)


    Warnings:
    • If you have history enabled and notice that Cellular is using a lot of memory, you should cleanup your history entries using Cellular's history options.
    • If you're experiencing crashing due to memory errors, disable and clear your history.
    • If you cherish your history, you can back up the saved variables file and then delete it. You can view it in any text editor later. The location of the saved variables file is here:
      ...\WTF\Account\<Account Name>\<Server Name>\<Character Name>\SavedVariables\Cellular.lua

    Love love love this addon. I was very happy to see it updated. Question though, does it not work with BattleTag? I have some BattleTag friends and when they whisper me I get them fine but when i go to whisper them back it says "No character with this name exists" because its trying to whisper a character name instead of a BattleTag. Currently doesnt work with Real ID either. Am I doing something wrong?

    ty for adding the disable battlenet. i do like using it for my battlenet messages. is there a way to get it to work w/ mop and replying to battlenet messages? it works fine for sending the initial message but when replying it won't work unless you open up your friends window and initiate each message from there. you can't just do reply

    I'm encountering a bug that I think has been hanging around for awhile. I received a whisper from a guildie, pressed R and was able to reply, but then I couldn't use R to reply to any of his subsequent messages. I could whisper him by clicking his name or pressing enter (because of sticky chat), but R will not work after one reply.

    It also frequently tells me "no player named ____ is playing" or something to that effect when responding to RealID whispers. I've been working around this by /tell <charactername>, but that's very annoying.

    Exclamation Bug with Reply for RealID characters
    I'm seeing the same bug that others have reported. It seems the latest update has introduced a small bug that prevents you from replying to a whisper by pressing R if the person is also a RealId friend. I have seen this happen consistently on several computers and it is new to the latest patch. The workaround is to use /tell or click on the RealID name in your friends list and selecting Whisper (this is a bit time consuming for a long conversation).

    Great addon though and thanks for making it available. This defect probably needs some attention though.

    Exact same thing here. And someone posted in July 2011 that R was not working to reply and nothing was said then either, so I am really not holding my breath. I love this addon so much, but it's quite frustrating when it doesn't work like it should.
