stopped support because i am no longer playing wow. if someone wants to take over this addon he/she has my full assistance.


eUF (Extended Unit Frames) was made to upgrade the default Blizzard Unit Frames by important features like

  • focus frame
  • party target frames
  • party cast bars
  • class icons
  • highly modifyable status texts
  • zoomed-in buff icons
  • and much more

eUF uses the default Unit Frames and doesn’t create them by scratch that’s why its that much more lightweight than other Unit Frame addons.
It also uses LibDogTag-3.0 to format the status texts which makes them very adaptable.

All unit frames (player, target, focus, party, castbar) are movable too. Hint: They are already unlocked by default. If u want to reset the frame positions to default delete file WoW\WTF\Account\*accountname*\*servername*\*charname*\layout-cache.txt

Configuration can be found under Esc -> Interface Options -> AddOns or via /euf and /extendeduf.

Great addon, but HUGE memory consumption.
In fact, it was near recount.
Is it a known problem, or do i have a conflict or something ?

sorry but i am unable to reproduce this problem.

does the problem still exist if u disable all other addons?
how do u lock? /euf lock or via the menu (esc->interface->addons->euf)?
which zones for example?

uhm yeah i would rly would like to help but it doesnt happen for me.

Having a hard time keeping the pictures staying in the same place...I have my name/hp bar at the bottom of my screen>>Next to my bars etc<< & if I don't lock every time I go to a new zone it goes back to the top-

i guess if i would add it i would do it only for player, target, focus, pet - not for playertarget, targettarget, focustarget, party and partytarget.

well i cant easily add it for party frames because party targets are there and if i would move them to the right it would look kinda strange.

Would that help or is playertarget, targettarget, focustarget, party and partytarget important for the text at the right?
i use the right ones just as much as the on bar ones, so if it's doable and you find time for it i would love it

no sorry, but you can set the configuration of eUF so that it doesnt do anything else than zoomed in buffs/debuffs. disable all other stuff etc.

I'm enjoying this addon in general, but the main reason I tried it was because of the "zoomed-in buff/debuff icons" feature. I like to have the OmniCC countdown info right on the target's debuffs icons, but if the timer font is large enough to read, then the debuff itself is almost completely obscured.

right now all those frames have the two for HP and MP centered in each frame. i can not see how to have part in one place and part in another.

i get these features now with SimpleUnitFrames + FocusFrame. I like the more universal implementation, and the ability to get rid of two mods for one. without these features it just doesn't cut it yet.

also see libstickyframes i think, or bongos as example. it would be nice to have some alignment tools for the frames to be able to make it look cleaner.

in leui of sticky frames, an exact xy in the config would do it too. the layoutcache has these numbers but trying to edit it is a royal pain. also by having it in the config for the mod it would force the layout for each character to conform by updating the ones that don't match the various frame positions, as you log in say.
