This is a little addon I made up, being an old Quake 3 fan myself.
It basically adds Quake 3 Arena sounds to your actions as a mage, featuring the following events:

"Quad Damage" powerup start and expiration sounds when casting:
- "Combustion"
- "Arcane Power"
- "Icy Veins"

"Regeneration" sound when casting:
- "Evocation"

"Invisibility" powerup sounds when casting:
- "Invisibility"

"Battle Suit" powerup sound when casting:
- "Mana Shield"

"Haste" powerup sound when casting:
- "Blazing Speed"

"Powerup Respawn" sound for procs:
- Hot Streak
- Missile Barrage
- Brain Freeze

"Sudden Death" voice for procs:
- Firestarter
- Fingers of Frost

"Inventory Item" sound for proc:
- Clearcasting

The Addon is compatible with WoW 3.0.2
and works with the english, german and french wow client.

I've checked his code, tried changing the sound file name, etc, to no avail. If anyone has any suggestions please let me know. It uses the "Sudden_death.mp3" when it procs.

Havig a sound info would help quite a lot. Here are the french names of the spells that should be sounded EN to FR: -"Combustion" - "Combustion" -"Arcane Power" - "Pouvoir des arcanes" -"Icy Veins" - "Veines glaciales" -"Evocation" - "Evocation" -"Invisibility" - "Invisibilité" -"Mana Shield" - "Bouclier de mana" -"Blazing Speed" - "Vitesse flamboyante" =And to add= -"Hot Streak" - "Chaleur continue" -"Firestarter" - "Boute-flammes" -"Fingers of Frost" - "Doigts de givre" -"Brain Freeze" - "Gel mental" (not sure if this is a proc or how it appears in combat log as I did not tested frost yet) -"Presence of Mind" - "Présence spirituelle" -"Missile Barrage" - "Barrage des projectiles" -"Clearcasting" - "Idées claires" Those are all I could think of... For other languages, I suggest you to look for comunity sites that usually have talent calculators localised... it will help. Keep the good work! And thanks for this addon.

I Would be happy if someone could give me the correct translations of the spell and buff names. stealgate A Kobold Labourer Forum posts: 0 File comments: 2 Uploads: 0	love this mod hey I love the idea you were going with here so I was curious if you could maybe make a small stand alone mod for me for my missile barrage proc. maybe when the proc goes off and I gain the buff to cast my super fast arc missiles you could make it use the haste.wave id love ya long time for just that 1 sound to work. thanx

My guess is that Combustion works 'cuz it spells the same in Eng and Fr. Can you make it work for French? I can provide you with exact spelling for spells. Allso, is it possible to add some sounds for things like the "Hot Streak" proc or "Firestarter". Got to be other spells in Frost or Arcane. Anyway, as a oldtimer Quake player, I love your addon!!
