oUF Lyn  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)

Version: 1.2.4f
by: eiszeit [More]

Note: I, Obble, am now maintaining this and lyns other addons after he quit. I am currently rewriting oUF_Lyn for 3.1

This is another layout for oUF.

Works with the current version of oUF (as of 17.10.2008).

Note: colors working again, thanks to zork/rothar.

If you want to modify the layout, do it yourself. I will not give any help. I give only support if the original layout have errors or anything.

It has following frames:
- Player
- Target
- Target of Target
- Pet
- Focus
- Party
- Raid

You can hide party in raid by going into your Interface option and activate the option "Hide Party Interface in Raid".

It supports following oUF Plugins and Libs:
- oUF_DebuffHighlight
- oUF_PowerSpark
- oUF_BarFader
- oUF_Banzai <- should work. normally a layout DOES NOT need to edit anything for support, so.

If you find any bugs or so... please let me know (screenshot + error message or something)

1.2.4f

- barfade again - maybe, dunno, dont care. if it change again i'll drop support for it.

1.2.4e

- toc bump

1.2.4d

1.2.4b

1.2.3

- added !LynColor for old colors (changing all colors in wow :P)
- fixed some stuff

1.2.2

- fixed barfade support

1.2.1

- only thing what doesnt work with 3.0 are the custom reaction colors... dunno how to fix it atm.
- removed support for: ouf_druidmana/libmobhealth

1.2

- oUF_BarFader support

1.1

- forgot the new name of the safe zone

1.0

- enabled druidmana, changed display of druidmana
- dunno what else I did

0.9

- currently disabled druidmana
- little rework for ouf 1.1

- disabled pet happiness till I found a better solution to update it.

0.7

- changed banzai support, thanks to xuerian

0.6

- changed raid group spawning

0.5

I was raiding last night and had to reload the UI. When it reloaded the party frames showed along with the raid frames. I ended up commenting out the party frames in the LUA.

Lua.

Aha, and what exactly should this tell me? I don't have the "bug" so I can't fix it.

So its another mod that is causing my party frames to appear if I reload the UI? Its fine when I join the raid, it only happens on reload.

hey, power bar updates seem to be kinda slow, like they were in 2.4.
is it possible to update the player's power according to the power regeneration (i play a rogue so it's kinda weird when you have 56 energy and mutilate is ready on the actionbar)

Small Update for BarFader

Latest version of oUF_BarFader wasn't working, after some poking around I found that the variables didn't match up:

Code:
self.BarFade = true
Needs to be:

Code:
self.barFade = true
Same for the self.BarFadeAlpha settings. Don't ask how long I stared at the code before realizing the case was off on that one letter.

hi eiszeit,

there's something wrong with 3.0.3 : your layout does not load :'(

it's tagged as outdated but even i checked it it does'nt appear and pStats doesn't display it.

I've tried with only loading oUF and oUF_Lyn to avoid interferences : same.

Then i tried with oUF_Atrophia and it works so it doesn't seem to come from oUF.

Thanks for your help.

there is nothing wrong with my layout. the only thing is the toc number from the toc file is too old, use the number from atrowhatever layout and replace it in mine, this should "fix" it.

i dont have wow here so cant test it.

The only relevant commented code I see for power regen is the PowerSpark support. I wasn't using it but I commented out all of the lines and downloaded PowerSpark and the result is the same: It still shows 'chunk' ticks of energy regen rather than slowly counting up, except now it has the spark to note when those ticks are coming. :x

Code:
		-- oUF_PowerSpark support
		--
        self.Spark = self.Power:CreateTexture(nil, "OVERLAY")
		self.Spark:SetTexture("Interface\\CastingBar\\UI-CastingBar-Spark")
		self.Spark:SetVertexColor(1, 1, 1, 1)
		self.Spark:SetBlendMode("ADD")
		self.Spark:SetHeight(self.Power:GetHeight()*2.5)
		self.Spark:SetWidth(self.Power:GetHeight()*2)
        self.Spark.rtl = true -- Make the spark go from Right To Left instead
		self.Spark.manatick = true -- Show mana regen ticks outside FSR (like the energy ticker)
		self.Spark.highAlpha = 1 -- What alpha setting to use for the FSR and energy spark
		self.Spark.lowAlpha = 0.25 -- What alpha setting to use for the mana regen ticker
