oUF Pearl  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)

Version: 1.1b
by: tyeni [More]

This another oUF 1.3 Layout. It requires oUF by Haste. Again this is for 1.3 not 1.4 and so on...

oUF_CombatFeedback -- Player and Target only
oUF_DebuffHighlight
oUF_Experience -- Hidden until mouseover

oUF_TotemBar
oUF_Smooth -- Embedded
oUF_SpellRange
oUF_MoveableFrames -- all frames moveable

Special thanks to:

I dont believe that you can have the anchors for party pets and targets since they do not have actual headers, they are parented to the actual party or raid frame. They are in the oUF_Pearl.xml file and can be moved from there.

Buffs and debuffs can be moved by changing the coords at lines 594 for pets, 646 and 652 for player and 658 and 663 for target, in the oUF_Pearl.lua

You don't need an anchor. Unlock the frames with the /mvf.. and simply drag the frame itself. Worked fine for me.

Align? Makes a graph paper on your screen.. I think that's what you are referring to.

they are already there. I have it commented out because there is an issue right now with the portrait transparencies. if you want them though you can go into oUF_Pearl.lua and uncomment lines 690 to 695

Hello

Love the layout, but theres 1 thing:

- The buff/debuff skins dont match the texture of the layout is there any way i could texture them through the lua? or will you be including a texture in a future update?

change button.tga in the media/texture folder in oUF_Pearl.
make sure you rename your new texture to button though.

Well the only other area you can look at is starting at line 302 and 354in oUF_Pearl.lua

that is where the aura is created and skinned.

Where would the line of code be to change the buffs from going left to up to left to down. (stacking wise)

I'm having the problem as well. I've looked through the code, and I've replaced files, etc. The layout wants to hang on to this one particular texture, however.

The only texture I could find in the media folder that resembled it was the frameborder3 one. So, out of curiosity, I altered it's color. Still didn't take, though. So I took another texture, named it frameborder3 ... still the same texture. So I'm perplexed.

Out of curiosity, I removed the line at the beginning that declares the button texture ... still remains the same.

Aha. I fixed it.

Line 20, I edited it to:

local buttonTex = mediaPath..

Then when it declares set texture for the button, I tell it to use buttonTex.

If that makes any sense.
