I'm moving the latest version downloads to the Curse.com site this is due to the pain of keeping two addon sites going. Also because Curse.com makes it very easy to update. All I need to do is to right click on project folder and click submit, and it uploads changes and creates zip files for me as well as maintaining the change log and problem tickets system.
So this addon is very very much under active development (as of 7th Nov 2008) its just that the main page is now on Curse.com
Please note the version here is already out of date.

1) I can upload something 2) you test it 3) provide feedback 4) I update it 5) back to stage 1 Using the SVN means I am not uploading versions with untested code to sites like this one. Actually what would be even better is if we could arrange a time to be online at the same time (albeit different servers) and perhaps arrange a Teamspeak/Vent/Skype chat so you can tell me errors directly rather than us waiting for slow exchanges of emails. Always quicker saying "missing = at line 1046" than having to type it and wait for hours for reply. Especially if the very next version has "missing end at line 1047". A faster turnaround = better addon quicker. |

I don't see ShockAndAwe on the wowinterface or wowace SVN. Is there a link? Or maybe I misunderstood.
Edit: If it makes you feel better the US lvl 80 premade server was gone today when I logged on. I share your opinion of not wanting to see all the 70+ leveling content yet.

The version on wowace SVN http://svn.wowace.com/wowace/branches/ShockAndAwe/WotLK is the one under active development and may at any time have code I've added "drycoded" ie: coded when I am away from game on laptop or otherwise without access to run the addon in game. Thus the SVN whilst its the very latest may well have simple syntax errors eg: I've coded if stacks = 5 then instead of if stacks == 5 then The first version will of course give a syntax error when it runs. Of course once I actually do a testing session the SVN will be a lot more up to date than this site. Once I get something reasonably stable I post an update here, as in fact I am about to do with version 2.20. |

On the subject of the SVN the zip file uploaded here has all the SVN info in it. If you have an SVN client like TortoiseSVN from www.tortoisesvn.net then you can simply right click on the folder once you have unzipped it and use "SVN update" which will download the latest version from the SVN.

Hello,
I can help you with the frFR localization. I have translate some missing part and update the Locale-frFR.lua file, but i have a problem with Maelstrom Waepon. It's actually called "Arme du Maelström" in french but it seems that \195\182 is not working for "ö". I will continue to investigate. |

Was testing this on the PTR and I'm not seeing the Maelstrom Weapon bar (although everything else is working beautifully).
http://i224.photobucket.com/albums/d...108_145222.jpg SS shows the space for the bar is there, but the actual bar and stack counts aren't showing up. Tried playing with the alpha a bit, and it didn't change anything. Advice? Or am I dumb and this isn't supposed to work on the PTR yet? |

New version uploaded that fixes the maelstrom weapon bug. As Lava Lash had been introduced with build 8970 the talents had moved in the tree, so it maelstrom weapon talents weren't being seen and thus the bar wasn't showing.
Many thanks also to Itania for offering to do French translations. I'll have to sort the embedded text I've neglected to put into translations.

Today I noticed on the MW bar the cool down spark seems to extend past the end of the bar itself. I tried playing around with the settings with no results.

Thanks will investigate - I need to change a few MW things anyway because of patch 9014 changes however I have read a blue post that they are reversing some of them, so I am tempted to wait for the reversed changes before jumping in.

Got a chance to try this out a bit in Naxx tonight. Worked rather well. I have a few suggestions for you.
On the functionality front would it be possible to maybe add a flash or pulse to the maelstrom bar when you reach 5 stacks? Not sure how easily that could be implemented but making the bar 'pop' momentarily may make it more noticable without having to constantly be staring at the bar. On the aesthetic level I'd like to be able to change the border texture or simply turn it off if possible. Thanks for the shared media support, by the way! I'll play around with it some more later in the week and let you know if I come up with anything else. This mod is shaping up rather well so far! |

Actually I might just see if I can add all 3. Theres bound to be SOMEONE out there foolish enough to want it to flash the bar, make a sound, and flash their screen. Although they will probably want the screen to shake too at the same time - similar options on Omen2. For border texture - I hope you are only asking for a global border texture change to affect all bars? If so I could add this. Adding a custom border for every frame would just be too over the top, as it adds loads of extra checks. |
