The new combat log while being fancy, has a few annoyances.

This does a few things, the quick filters bar is moved to the same area as the "Combat Log" tab and you can actually resize the combat log again to the old-pre 2.3 height to avoid wasted space, also includes fixes for the quick filters bar not actually having any filters inside, and your last chosen filter not being set.

Includes /dcl max <limit> allowing you to change how many lines of data the combat log keeps in the history.
