HealBot Continued   

Strife Ever thought about putting icons on the bars for Raid Debuffs. Wondering cause this is why i changed to Grid so i can see all those things on the target frames. you know they get a raid debuff and bam a huge icon for it shows up in the middle of the frame it's a nice option for us that can dispell them

Can you confirm this will work for the 2.4 patch tomorrow please? Thanks in advance

Healbot is not functioning in 2.4 for Pallys.. at least that I can tell. Neither I, nor other guildies can get it to work. And I'm using the updated version for 2.4.

maybe I dont understand you 2.3.3.12 didn't work for you on the PTR?? Is it supposed to?? (I'm a pal too, had no real issues with it on the live server today -- but I'm in France maybe its already live in the states 2.4??

So which version is the updated version for 2.4 -- kinda thought it would be labeled 2.4.0.0 ors omething like that.

Anyway, raid tomorrow and need to know if I have to temporarily set up grid or not??

I didn't test it on the PTR. 2.4 went Live today in the states.. I have the most current version which shows to have been updated for 2.4 and it's not working for me or guildies.

Hi I'm just wondering if healbot is working for anyone else on 2.4? the latest version will not run at all...on any of my characters...

Well I'm a pally on a french server, and I tested it .... it works more or less;

it decurses it does a macro heal and a flash heal and a bene protection; it seems to sort correctly tanks and things but I have not tried it in a raid .. wil do so in a couple of hours.

BUT there were often error messages blocking my screen that would go away before I could read them in the middle of a five man which was pretty handicapping. It is very intermittent, sometimes no problem, sometimes an error that you can't get rid of. You van howver continue to heal but the error thing blocks most of the center screen.

Hope a 2.4 version comes soon. Grid works in the meantime, but have always preferred healbot, especially now that macros worlk with it. Good luck Strife

I can seem to heal now long as the peeps are in my party and in combat. is there an option in healbot that allows me to heal anyone as long as i click on them?

In German WoW - Healbot does not work correctly since 2.4.0.

Blizzard has changed the class names of female characters. So, a male priest is called "Priester" while a female priest is now called "Priesterin".

When I change HealBot_Localization.de.lua:

from:
HEALBOT_PRIEST = "Priester";
to:
HEALBOT_PRIEST = "Priesterin";

and also search/replace "Priester" to "Priesterin" inside HealBot.lua from my accounts SavedVariables it works - but only for female characters

I have the same problem with my female Druid. After I changed the HealBot_Localization.de.lua from HEALBOT_DRUID = "Druide" to "Druidin" and the HealBot.lua in the SavedVariables folder (as Melneldur and legends17 already wrote), HealBot now detects the correct class and it works for myself, but not for other (male?) characters.

I tried to copy and paste the code for each (male) class in the HealBot.lua (SavedVariables) and renamed the class from male to female, but it didn't work.

Is there a chance to work with a "*" as a variable like HEALBOT_DRUID = "Druid*" or something like that (already tested, this syntax didn't work at all)?

Or can the code be extended by a query if the character is male or female?

I use the German version and Healbot 2.4.0 worked fine for me with one exception. My guild went to the new 25 man instance yesterday and some of the trash mobs are casting a dispellable debuff that looks like a frost nova on the raid. Every time they do this heal bot pops up a window with a nil pointer error. I had to turn off the dispel notification to get around this problem.

I have the same errors as Kiarame and Zhuragnar in french WOW. i've changed the class names but healbot does'nt want to work at all.
