Ampere  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)

Version: 3.1.0.15-Release
by: Tekkub [More]

Ampere is a small addon designed to mirror the functionality of the login screen "Addons" button in-game. It's designed to fit inside the config GUI introduced in patch 2.4. Ampere lets you quickly enable and disable addons, reload the UI, and load LoadOnDemand addons.

Great addon concept, the more addons I can put into the new interface window, the better.

Two requests, though:

1.) Due to the ammount of addons I use, a scrollbar would be great. ATM I can only activate / deactivate a small part of my addons.

2.) Could you add the possibility to create templates, f.e. to activate/deactiviate all addons I use while raiding?

Strange thing happened to me. I downloaded this addon and then ran the WowAceUpdater. It replaced this addon (Amp) with AMP (Answering Machine Plus).

I guess the name is causing a conflict.

There are still trackballs out there eh? Last time I saw one it had a scrolly wheel though... I'd prefer not to put one in because I'm already cramped for space as is... open a ticket so I don't forget.

WAU.... simplest way is to throw a ".svn" into the addon's folder so WAU will ignore it.

LibStub error is already fixed.

And a quick reminder to those of you who didn't read the big text... feature requests and bugs reported here will be read and promptly forgotten. Report shit to google code.

If I install this addon, it breaks XPerl Unit Frames 2.4.0b. I no longer get a target portrait window with the HP/Mana in it and XPerl Unit Frame is no longer available. I disable your plug in and it starts working again...
And I cannot figure out where to access AMP... I thought it would pop up when I hit ESC, but it doesn't...

No error messages either.
What info can I provide that would help you?

This is what I am running (not all may be enabled at the same time.)

Eek, after installing this addon it caused major mayhem to all other addons. I got some Amp error at startup, and about 80% of all addons stopped working entirely.

looks nice..
do you plan to add sets?
at the moment use acp and i have a basic set, standard set, pvp set and a auctioneer set. with acp i can load sets(unload all other), add to current or remove from current

so i have a basic setup of addons for my twinks..
a standard set for my mainchar.
a pvp set with pvp addons (for example, i don't need proximo when i raid )
a auctioneer set (i just need this bloat monster with all addons only when i plan to visit the AH)

another thing what i hope to see is colapsing for addons like bigwigs libs babble

Yea, I was trying to figure out why the hell I had a "recorder" running every time the game set me to AFK mode. Then when I typed /amp and saw the message options, I knew something was wrong.

For anyone using Windows and wondering how to make a .svn folder (because the GUI errors with "file name needed"):
~Click Start Button
~Click Run
~Type cmd
~Type cd desktop
~Type mkdir .svn
~Close the cmd window
~Right-click and copy that new .svn folder into the Addon folder that you want to protect from WAU updates (leave a copy on your desktop for other copies) and forget about it until next patch or addon update.

or.. you could do it a lil easier.... in WAU... find your socalled "amp" addon.. rightclick it.. and choose to ignore it.. then you can keep tekkubs "amp" without hassling it with .svn folder copying
