Click here to lend your support!
An LDB data object for the LootWatch addon.

You need to have LootWatch installed for this addon to do anything.

When you mouseover the LDB display, a tooltip will appear which contains the list of items you are watching with LootWatch. Mousing over one of these items will show a secondary tooltip containing a breakdown of where the item is located (alts and banks).

You can click the LDB display to toggle the showing of the LootWatch list frame.

In LootWatch-LDB r147 and higher, you can left click on an item in order to show it as the LDB display's text. Click a second time to stop watching the item. You can also right click on an item to remove it from LootWatch itself.

r206:
- Support for LootWatch-r205's new alts and banks on|off toggle.
- NOTE: You must be using LootWatch-r205 for this revirion to function properly.

r187:
- Support for LootWatch-r187's faction-specific data.
- NOTE: You must be using LootWatch-r187 for this revision to function properly.

r184:
- Added support for showing the breakdown tooltip of which alt/bank has which items.
- NOTE: You must be using LootWatch-r184 for this revision to function properly.

r151 BETA:
- Removing an item will no longer close the tooltip.
- Left clicking an item a second time will stop watching that item.
- Watching an item will now add an icon next to that item in the tooltip.
- The tooltip frame should now have proper padding.

r147 BETA:
- Please keep in mind that r147beta is -beta- quality.
- Can now left click an item to show it as the LDB text.
- Can now right click an item to delete it from LootWatch.

r141:
- Support for per-character lists.

r139:
- Can now click on the LDB display to toggle the on-screen listing.

r137:
- Dynamic toolitp positioning.

r136:
- Slight code cleanup.
- Should now work with DockingStation. Added some 'self' references which helped.

r206: Support for LootWatch-r205

r206 adds support for LootWatch-r205's new slash commands which toggle the display of items on alts and in banks. If updating LootWatch to r205 or higher, you will need LootWatch-LDB-r206 or higher.

As with the last update, be sure to update your LootWatch addon to r187 when you update the LDB plugin for everything to operate smoothly.

Update: r184

Just added support for alt/bank counts to be displayed when mousing over an item in the LootWatch-LDB tooltip.

If upgrading to r184, be sure to upgrade LootWatch itself to r183, or you will experience errors.

While it does need just a tad more work, I made a compromise in r151. The tooltip will be left showing, and the item will simply vanish. To avoid having the mouse end up being off of the tooltip (and therefore closing) after removing an item, I chose not to resize it, just leave a blank space where the item was previously. If you move your mouse off of the tooltip and then back again, the menu is properly resized, however.
I think this is great. Sure, not aesthetically pleasing for a whole 1/10th of a second (or a little longer) but the only other way around that I think would be to put some filler text at the top and bottom of the tooltip (like hints at the bottom and LootWatchLDB at the top) to avoid having your mouse "fall out" of the tooltip after removing an item. I think this way is fine though, since it does resize after you re-mouseover it (is that a word?!).

Oh, no - I love criticism and there's never anything wrong with a fresh pair of eyes on something. Often I've not seen something that someone else has since they're looking at it differently than myself.

Originally posted by xtoq The tooltip looks funny, there's not enough padding so the watched item text bumps up against the border texture.
I've added the padding as I mentioned in the last comment, in r151.

I'd like to resize things, but I feel that it would become annoying to have the tooltip closing when clicking the furthest item from LDB. Keeping the empty space prevents this from happening.

I also added two other things to r151.
- Clicking a watched item a second time will un-watch the item (reverts to watching nothing at all).
- Watching an item will add an icon next to the item in the tooltip.

Yep, I've actually already added the left and right padding to the tooltip (~5px or so) on my development version. I had planned on adding the padding in before I submitted this revision, but I forgot all about it due to it being quite late in the evening for me. Next revision will have the padding, no worries

Originally posted by xtoq Right clicking to remove an item shouldn't release the tooltip IMO, since you might be removing more than one item at a time.
This was one of the things that was driving me nuts. It needs a lot of work that I kinda took an easy and less efficient shortcut with. Due to how the menu is created, and the method I used to store it, it was wreaking all kinds of havoc on the tooltip's layout if I left it open.

My (simple) solution was to simply hide the tooltip, and have it rebuild itself when you mouseover the display again. While this does the job, I had hoped to allow the frame to remain open. If you deleted the item furthest from the display, however, it would register as your mouse no longer being over the menu, and close anyway, and so I figured it would be okay to just close it all the time.

Anyhow, I'm glad I was able to push out at least a working version of these features for you and any others out there who enjoy it.

Other than that looks great, thanks so much!

I'll see if I can download Docking Station and see what the issue is. Fortress just seemed to be one of the more popular LDB displays out there is all Was it just not doing anything/showing up at all, or was it giving errors?

EDIT: Downloaded DockingStation and gave it a try. After slight code tinkering, it appears to work fine now. Uploaded the next revision for you and anyone else that had problems.
