EoUI

UPDATED for patch 5.2!
NOTES for 5.2: More screenshots will be added soon.
After playing WoW for 7+ years and being addicted to UI compilations, I finally broke down and made my own from scratch. This is simply many addons that I've used over the years and all I did was tie them in together to make a nice clean layout mainly for a raiding healer setup. Don't fret though! If you are not a healer or a raider, this setup works fine for anyone.
Setup:
1. Back up your WTF, Interface and Font folders and then delete them from WoW directory folder.
2. Unzip EoUI in your WoW directory.
3. Rename these folders in the WTF folder -
* ACCOUNT NAME replace with your account name (example: Katie86)
* SERVER NAME replace with the server you are playing (example: Sargeras)
* Priest, Paladin, ect, choose your healer class and rename it to your characters name corresponding to that class (example: Fiction is my priest) If you dont have one of the healer classes, scroll down to Non-Healer Notes.
FOR THIS COMPILATION TO WORK YOU MUST DO THIS STEP:
Log into your account, log onto your character, once in-game hit the enter button and type /reflux switch eoui - remember, it's case sensitive.
If any addon doesn't seem to load, type the appropriate /command for the addon and check for profile "eolianui", "eoui", "eolian" or the class type you are playing.
IMPORTANT: I no longer include Clique or Weak Auras with my compilation as it has caused a lot of confusion in the past. I still HIGHLY recommend both of these addons for any healer. I feel they are must-haves for anyone with healing abilities.
Healers Notes: Your grid should be set up correctly per class if you followed my directions. But just to make sure, once your screen has reloaded after doing the last step above, type /grid, go to the Profiles tab and make sure your respective class is being used as the profile name. Example: Shamans, make sure your profile is set to "shaman", ect.
Non-Healers Notes: if you are not a healer and just like this compilation - choose the Priest folder, and rename it to your characters name. I have added in a profile in Grid just for you guys as well. Its smaller and uses less information. Go into the Grid profiles and choose "non-healer". Also, feel free to move the Grid frame itself where ever you would like. It doesnt have to stay in the middle left of the screen.
High-Res Notes: You'll have to adjust the chat boxes by right clicking on them. If you would like to resize the panels, type /kgpanels config, and open the waterfall menu titled Active Panels. The panel names are literal, so it shouldnt be hard for anyone to find the one you want to adjust. You can unlock and move any of them them by highlighting the desired panel name in the waterfall menu and then unchecking the "lock" option to the right.
You'll also have to move the map which will be easy, type /chinchilla and uncheck the "lock" box and move it to where ever youd like it.
Lastly you will move the Skada windows the same way using the slash command /skada config.
REMINDER: make sure you "lock" everything again once you are done!
Main Addon List and /Commands:
MiirgUI - skin for wow panels
Bagnon - personal and bank inventory
Bartender4 - action bar addon, /bar
Chatter - chat mod, /chatter
Chinchilla - map, /chinchilla
Grid(manabars, cornericons, sideicons) - /grid
KG Panels - support addon for graphic layout, /kgpanels config
Masque - action button skinner, /masque
Mik's Scrolling Combat Text - /msbt
Reflux - makes profile switching easy, /reflux
Raven - buff, debuffs, hots/dots and cooldown timers, /raven
Skada - damage, healing and threat meter, /skada config
Stuf - unit frames, /stuf
Tip Tac - tooltip addon, /tip
Credits: Thank you to all the authors who made the above listed addons. You guys are the real workhorses of websites like WoWInterface.

1. no addon for the quest tracker per say. however the map addon, chinchilla, allows for moving the quest/achievement tracking around. 2. you can make your own Reflux profiles. its very easy to use, actually. heres the instructions for that addon so you can save your own settings. http://www.wowinterface.com/download...11-Reflux.html 3. I do not plan on changing from SBF because of the amount of things I can do with that addon. Unless I'm mistaken(happens sometimes!) I believe all of the buff addons have that same issue. Its a blizzard coding problem, not an addon coding. More detail on #3 - I can see how that is a tricky problem for some classes(tanks) and some scenarios(clicking off BoP or Levitate, ect). I really dont know a way around this issue, unless any of you know of a fix for it, or an addon essentially just like SBF where you can separate and organize buffs/debuffs exactly the way you want and in as many sections/groups as you want. I have been keeping an eye out on SBF for updates in hopes the author has found a way, but no luck as of yet. Its not a huge bother to me personally, because I dont use that function enough, but I do understand many people need it. Oh and ty very much for the kudos, much appreciated! Im glad you and others really like it!

Hey sorry for the long response time.. long work hours lately
So i've just deleted your files and booted up wow with no luck, it just simply wont believe that im not in the right region.. and checked my realmlist it looks just about right: set realmlist eu.logon.worldofwarcraft.com set patchlist enGB.patch.battle.net:1119/patch set realmlistbn "" set portal eu I have also noted some new folders: F:\World of Warcraft\Cache\ADB\enUS (no enGB located) F:\World of Warcraft\Cache\WDB\enUS (enGB located too) F:\World of Warcraft\Data\Cache\enUS (enGB located too) F:\World of Warcraft\Data\enUS (enGB located too) even if i delete the enUS folders, wow just re-create them when i launch wow and starting to download a patch or something, heh so for now the only thing i can do is to reinstall wow from scratch.. :-/ --[EDIT]-- Found the problem and fixed it ;D In the WTF folder theres a config.wtf file, inside of that the very first line was SET locale "enUS" and i was like "AHA"... and changed it to: SET locale "enGB" And now it works!!! WEEEEEEEE ;D haha

Re: interface problem..
Hrmm... thats a tough one.
I honestly have no idea :S I think youre right though, something in my WTF files is making your game say you are from the US and not from the EU. Did you back up your original files before installing mine? If you did delete everything from mine and put your old files back in and see if that fixes the problem. If it works, then send me a pm and I will upload a specific install folder for EU people that will only have saved variables files for the addons being used. Im going to ask around tonight and see if I can come up with anything more solid. But in the mean time put your old stuff back in, or simply just delete my files and addons completely and start up wow and get back to me. edit: dont do a wow repair. very bad. edit 2: A guild mate of mine said this - "open the realmlist.wtf file in the main World of Warcraft folder and change the text after set realmlist to [us.worldofwarcraft.com] when you want to get to the American servers, and [eu.worldofwarcraft.com] when you want to get to the European ones. may or may not work, its from 2006" edit 3: here is a very useful webite that should help you alot. http://www.wowpedia.org/Realmlist.wtf

interface problem..
Hey there
I got this mega strange problem... It's not the first time i've installed an UI but this is the first time i've seen this thing... Been installing wow twice to make sure its not something i do Before your UI i had no problem logging on wow, but after the installation af your UI it seems like wow think's i'm from the US instead of EU and therefore wont let me login.. I have noticed this box comming up just short before launch after your UI install: and then when logging in, i get this: Do you have any idea why a simple interface install would change my location from EU to US? an how to revert it back, cause now the only thing i can do it to re-install wow ;-/ |

But I think you are telling me you have some addons specifically for each account? If this is what you are asking, then: First check to see if the addons you want saved aren't also in my UI package. Then take the the folders of those addons out of your current Interface/Addon folder(put them someplace out of the way like your desktop), delete your WTF and Interface folders, install mine, and then place the addons you saved back into the new Interface/Addon folder in the World of Warcraft directory. You'll have to do this twice, one for each account of course If this isnt what you meant, feel free to shoot me a pm with alittle more detail and I'll help out as soon as I can. |

Re: The zooming
Are you only going from min to max view distance with one button? Or are you using something like a mouse wheel to directly control your camera? To more directly answer you, setting the game to zoom out only to minimum is something I have no control over. There is no addon in my package that does anything like that. The addon for the text for the guild, friends, currency, ect is SL Data Text. Just type /sldt and make sure the current profile is dreamingui. If it is and you are still having issues with the text or the panels the text sits in, send me a screenshot in a pm and I will be happy to help figure out what went wrong |

The zooming
Is there a way to limit how far you can zoom out?
I tried the normal Interface>camera>Max Camera Distance Its already set on the lowest setting possible but the camera still keeps zooming out when I zoom out until the characters are so small that the names are neigh unreadable. =( also, using a higher resolution. Is there any way to move the squares that are supposed to be under the map, time, currency, guild and friends? The data is currently outside the squares at the moment. =(
