FuBar - SkillsPlusFu v4.1.3
Release Date: 2011.05.03

This add-on combines the functionality of avngr's FuBar_ProfessionsFu, Kemayo's FuBar_KungFu, and smuggles FubarTradeCooldownFu. This add-on is uploaded with their approval. I decided to merge the the first two because they seemed to have a rather large overlap, although both had bits that were unique and very useful (or just plain good looking). I have tried to keep the best of both. Next I wanted to get rid of another add-on on my bar and added the Trade Cooldown functionality. It took me a while to get the salt shaker support correct, as I'm still figuring out the event flow.

On popular demand, I added the option to show the skills for your other toons.

SkillsPlusFu is currently localised only for English, but should be easy to expand to cover other languages. However, by using BabbleLib it should at least properly for those languages supported by that library.

Use
The FuBar menu will display either Skills or the name of a skill that can be used to make things (so, say, Mining doesn't show, but Smelting does). Behind the skill (name and/or icon depending on your preferences) the number of cooldown items is displayed. This display show (total item - items ready) This will not be shown when you have no cooldown items for any of the toons you play.

By selecting the (right-click) menu you see all skills that you can use to make things with for your current toon. Selecting one of these skills will open the relevant skill window and put it's name/icon up in the FuBar. Clicking this later will open the associated skill window again. The last used skill is saved between sessions.

Options
Show skill label - Toggles the display of the skill name (or the text skills) on the FuBar. Use this when you want to show only the icon and the cooldown info.
Show boolean skills - Toggles skills that do not progress, this includes proficiencies.
Show other player skills - Allows you to select which other toons and skills are shown.
Show cross faction skills - Toggles whether the skills mentioned above include those of other faction toons.

Show player names - Toggles display of the player names in the cooldown info
Show cooldown notification - Toggles displaying the cooldown info on the FuBar
Clear current cooldown data - Clears the current cooldown database.
Hide cooldown data for - Allows you to hide a specific cooldown

Complete changelog

Acknowledgements
This add-on is based on avngr's FuBar_ProfessionsFu, Kemayo's FuBar_KungFu, and smuggles FubarTradeCooldownFu. Thanks guys!

I'd like to add a special thank you to avngr who put me on this path by pointing out to me how easy it was to expand FuBar_PetInfo to my wishes.

Furthermore I'd like to thank all of you who helped me by logging bugs and offering suggestions. Thanks!

A nice option (if not to difficult to code?) would be to have a "short" display format of text in FuBar, so one can have the icon visible and only the cooldown info beside it. I.e. not show the text "Skill" or "Alchemy" etc... it would save some space

Actually, that's not a bug. It shows you you have 0 skills with a a cooldown and 0 of them are ready (or rather the other way round).
However, I can see why it's confusing, so I'll fix it that when there's nothing with a cooldown in the SavedVariables, I'll not display anything.

Thanks for the suggestion
Ah, that's what it's for. I honsetly thought it was supposed to show the skill level of the selected skill.

Yeah, having it not show if there is nothing on cooldown would be great. I like to keep my FuBar as clean as possible, so any un-needed info that I can keep from displaying would be good.

Thanks, and keep up the great work.

Funny you should mention that
I've actually been thinking about adding that particular option. I'll start working on it and hope to get it done in the next version.

Bug with skill value display

I've noticed that with this version (and the previous) of SkillsPlusFu, if have a skill selected, it still displays "(0/0)" next to the skill name in the FuBar display. Here's attached a screenshot:

http://www.darksideprod.com/temporar...PlusFu-Bug.jpg

No matter what I select, the skill level is never displayed, and all I see is "(0/0)" in red.

Otherwise, fantastic plugin. Please keep up the great work.

would it be possible to save the "last tradeskill used as left click on fubar" cross sessions? it got a 50% hit chance to not use the right click menu then for most i guess on the first use per session.
and/or be able to set a sticky profession based per toon so you always have to use the right click menu for other tradeskills.

great mod!

Interface\AddOns\FuBar_SkillsPlusFu\SkillsPlusFu.lua:220:attempt to index global `cooldownSave' (a nil value)

Hi Sha, the snowball should be fixed. I wasn't able to test it, so I'm glad you could
I'm not sure what you mean with adding a timer. It should stop notifying after it's done so once. I'll check the code to see what's wrong...

NB. TOC was updated to 12000.

Love this mod, even out of date
Glad you like it, but are you sure you got the FuBar_SkillsPlusFu 0.6.zip? As far as I can tell that one's correct for fishing/leatherworking. And the readme and version tell me they are 0.6 (and TOC 11000, but I hadn't updated that bit).

I'll admit that I'm not terribly attached to the cross faction skills display, but the cooldowns I need. At some point, if you could get the RecipeBook mod embedded in some fashion, I think this mod would have all the skills functionality I wanted in one place, but I doubt that RecipeBook would exactly be a swift and easy undertaking...
I was indeed talking about the skills list, and considering making it an option not to show cross-faction The Cooldowns were supposed to stay the way they are: cross faction.

As for Recipe Book...unlikely

I feel very stupid...

It seems that both times I updated I made the same error, i.e. I added a new file to the Upload box, but didn't click the little toggle that says: Replace file that shows up in front if it.

I'm really sorry about this. It should work now (the zip file should be called FuBar_SkillsPlusFu 0.6.zip).
