    (Note: You will need to place a "phpRaid_Data.lua" file in the addon's directory to update in-game data. This file will need to be downloaded from the WoW Raid Manager program, due to some involved time stamping in place to assist the synchronization with others.)

    Features

    • Allows viewing of users signed up to raids in WRM (WoW Raid Manager, formerly phpRaid).
    • Sorting of users can be done by those designated to individual teams or "All Teams." Queued users (not canceled, not drafted) are shown in a separate list.
    • Tooltip display from mouse-over of names shows character name, class, team (if applicable), and sign-up date and time.
    • Clicking names individually sends the individual a Party Invite.
    • Buttons above classes "All Druids," etc. sends an invite to all currently displayed <Class>. Will only send to particular team, if sorted to the desired team.
    • "Invite All" button sends a Party Invite to all drafted players for that group. (Does not invite Queued players, they must be done individually at this time.)
    • Player names colored based on current status: Online, Offline, AFK/DND, and In-Group.
    • FuBar tooltip support, allows clicking a raid date/time to show the Invite UI for the selected raid.
    • Fubar tooltip separates raids that you are signed up for from those you are not signed up for. (Canceled shows as 'not signed up'.)
    • Syncing between clients allows most recently downloaded data to be shared to everyone online with the mod in the same guild.
    • FuBar menu options:
      • Broadcast Throttle speed control. (Controls how fast Broadcast is sent, so as not to overwhelm the connection.)
      • Version Check initialization. (Requests and displays current Version number for everyone online. Useful in noting how many features they have access to--such as being able to sign up or delist in-game, in the future.)
      • Debug Enable/Disable. (Shows messages in chat frame when the hidden "phpLeader" variable changes, which happens with someone with new data logging in. Also triggers showing phpLeader related data, such as timers on how long until the phpLeader behind the scenes stuff happens.)
      • Option to remove characters from "YourChars" list. (This is the list checked to see if you're signed up or not when displaying the FuBar Tooltip.)
      • Option to broadcast a message to guild for "Please Leave Your Groups, Invites for [raid name] Incoming." (Text changed in FuBar menu. Button to broadcast is found on the Invite UI screen.)
    • New Version Notification. Changes FuBar text to display version number of newest version available (as received from other users).
    • Automatic change to Raid for invites adding to more than 5 people in current party.

    Are you still having this error? When I first started using "RIM" I had this error as well. For me this error was happening due to using copy/paste of the lua data.

    Once I started downloading the data the error went away. Downloading the data instead of copy/paste also fixes the issue with umlauts (special characters in the name).

    My guess is you're having the issue with the umlauts, names like "Dkféiné" get messed up if copied and pasted. I know that's what was causing my errors...

    When you generate the raid lua, right click the raid_data lua and select save link as, and save it to the proper location. This should correct the issue you're having.

    Edit: Reading your post again something stood out.

    Make sure you have entered your guild name properly, I don't think your guild is called "WoW Raid Manager", but I could be wrong.

    WRM 4.0.x Compatibility Issues
    If anyone is experiencing an error when upgrading WRM on their site, it is a known issue and not something I am willing to make an updated RIM over. The primary issue is a single character change and results in an error on line 750.

    Additionally, if any characters or your guild name contains multibyte letters, there is a /script found in the above post that may be necessary to be run (and sometimes has taken more than one time). This is, also, due to a change on the website software in the manner these letters are handled.


    Sorry for the inconvenience, but there's really not much I can do over the second issue, and the first ... is simply a 1-character change. I'm not willing to make a new release over a single letter.

    Absolutely. No ETA on the next release, but definitely working on it. You'll likely receive a quicker response for Support issues if you go to the RIM section of the forums at www.wowraidmanager.net , as I check there more frequently.

    I can't pretend to know what it means, but what i do know is that it blocks any use of the addon
    First of all, ensure that your phpRaid_Data.lua file (downloaded from WRM-WoW Raid Manager) is in the proper folder. That would be:
    World of Warcraft\Interface\AddOns\RIM\phpRaid_Data.lua

    Assuming you're using the latest version of this mod and a recent version (3.6+ should work) of WoW Raid Manager, that shouldn't be happening at all. If you're still having problems with the file in the appropriate place, please check the previously mentioned forums and we'll look further into the issue.

    I am getting this error all the time:

    If you have such a file, please PM a copy to me and I will see what I can do. The only thing that needs to be remembered is that it will have to be a variable. Something like:

    WoWRaids = ".......";

    Where the ....... is your comma separated stuff. I wouldn't think it would be a terribly difficult thing from there, but I'm assuming you have an example output that I could begin working with ... instead of my asking you to make your site output a certain way. Let me know what you've got at the moment.

    This looks awesome. I've been looking for a great raid inviter since Untitled Raid died with the 2.x release of WoW.

    What I'd suggest, for simplicity for you, is to allow a simple CSV format. It could be as simple as the Player names, if you'd prefer.

    Regardless, this looks great. Keep after it.

    Well I use a utility called REM (raid event manager) for my raid sign ups, but there is no export function yet.

    I was thinking of just importing a text file or csv or something simple

    Raid_Main
    player1 class/role
    player2 class/role
    player3 class/role
    .....
    etc


    Raid_Que
    Player1 class/role
    player2 class/role
    ....
    etc.

    So when it imports it puts them in the list as druid/priest, etc as well as adds people to the que.

    Will it be possible to import from something other than phpRaid/WoW Raid Manager? as not everyone uses them.

    Maybe something such as a flat file or simple format of some kind?
