Threat Plates (TP for short) is a addon for customizing your nameplates. It offers a high amount of customization and tweaks to how your nameplates react and look. It also offers some unique features that are not available with any other nameplate addon. I've spent a considerable amount of time improving this addon and any comments or concerns about this addon are appreciated. I'm always looking for ways to improve this addon.

Features:

SharedMedia support and many, many, options for name, health, level, and spell text. As well as all of the standard nameplate features such as castbar and icon, elite icons / textures, skull icons / textures, raid marks, and healthbar coloring/alpha/scale.
Ace3 profiling.
Low memory footprint.
Threat system management.
Automatic talent detection and role assigning for an easy out of the box setup.
Customizable widgets.
Customizable totem nameplates.
Customizable nameplates for extra customization for specifically named units.

Commands:

/tptp - Displays options.
/tptptoggle - Toggle Role from one to the other.
/tptpdps - Toggles DPS/Healing threat plates.
/tptptank - Toggles Tank threat plates.
/tptpol - Toggles nameplate overlapping.
/tptpverbose - Toggles addon feedback text.

Additional Information:

A considerable amount of information about options and its internal priorities are not gone into details. Most options that are enable or disable based will toggle off options that are no longer changeable once enabled or disabled. Yes I'm aware. There's no simple way to really do this other than editing the UniqueIconWidget.lua to reflect your language ( at least currently ).

I'm currently rewriting a lot of the options to simplify the localization support soon.

I need to ask you something. I only use plates in pvp scenarios, not in insta/raids/etc, so I don't use any of those settings (threats...). Is there a way to only show enemy player plates? I mean atm it's all perfect in bg or arena as there are no mobs: I only see enemy players, some pets and some totems; when I'm in world pvp/WG I still see (red) plates for mobs around, is it possible to hide them? (in the "Nameplate Options" I have only selected "Show Normal" and "Show Target Highlight"). Also, in regards of pets, is it possible to show plates only for lock pets (and hide hunter pets, together with the other pets included in the threatplates options)? Thanks a lot!

Mainly cause the new plate options for specific mobs, since there was no way to turn this off for all. Same with totems there was no option to turn off all totem plates. Plus specific mobs wouldn't enherit options such as plate scales, and other things. Makes it a pain when you have to set up scaling in many places. Anyway you working on a way to add a list of mobs with a text color option and possible other special options. I figure using a table to do this would be the easiest way to go at it. Then all you need to do is add defaults. Seems like someone wants a new specific mob added and it has to be hardcoded in each time.

you could at least for time being add a boolean under each of the custom mobs for "disable this mob" that just returns it to threat plate behavior and not custom nameplate behavior. cause some of them i like the custom colors, basically, things that don't have aggro tables, bone spikes, oozes, even marked immortal guardians, it does have an aggro table but if i see it run off i won't be inclined to taunt it back thinking it was a shank...but things like adds on deathwhisper, all i wanna see is green, if nameplatse aren't green i'm trying to taunt adds i think are loose. although at same time I like the custom name plates on my mage when i do alt ICC. so i don't wanna see feature go away, just get some fine tuning making each individual mob optional for custom nameplates..

get an update out like this, then, you can work on making the two features work together in a crafty way, but us waiting do really want a a semi workable solution right now

Not sure I understand.

The unique mobs are a special style of nameplate. Some of the normal features are not functioning with them just yet. They're more just an added feature at this point in time.

markv A Fallenroot Satyr Forum posts: 27 File comments: 22 Uploads: 2	HP coloured by threat level With the addition of this new feature I am wondering if there is some way to get rid of the border texture around the frames to streamline them a bit more. I thought it fell under Highlighting, but that option doesn't seem to work. I much prefer the slimmed down integration of threat in to health bars to reduce the clutter size on my screen, I think it looks a like sleeker. Anyway to get rid of the outlines? THanks!
