LightHeaded is a very simple addon that displays quest information and comments from http://www.wowhead.com in game, eliminating the need to Alt-Tab when you get stuck on quest. This addon was inspired by qcomments and wowhead_quests, which both serve a similar purpose. Data is only loaded when you first request it, so you can be sure you're not using more memory than you need to.

I HIGHLY suggest using this addon with TomTom, another one of my addons (http://www.wowinterface.com/download...32-TomTom.html ). This allows you to simply click any coordinate in LightHeaded to add it to your map as a waypoint.

The following slash commands are valid:

/lh attach - Attaches the frame to the quest log
/lh detach - Detaches the frame, allows you to resize and move it
/lh sound - Toggles the open/close sound
/lh page - Toggles showing all comments on one page, or with multiple pages
/lh bgalpha <0.0-1.0> - Changes the alpha of the LH window background textures, so you can see the world.
/lh debug - Enables or disabled debug messages when loading quest databases
/lh config - Opens the LightHeaded configuration window
/lh autodetails - Toggle automatic opening of the Lightheaded window when clicking a quest in the objective tracker

LightHeaded now includes the English descriptions and introductory text for most of the quests in the game. This is disabled by default, but can be enabled for those players that are not playing in their native locale.

LightHeaded supports sending coordinates to TomTom, MapNotes, Cartographer2 and Cartographer3.

IMPORTANT: Addon authors that wish to use this API and data should
include the wowhead logo in the frame that displays this information.
They are kind enough to let me continue parsing their database, and we
owe them at least that much. Thank you.

Since Blizzard has now updated their questlog, LightHeaded snaps on to Blizzards questlog perfectly but doesn't snap on to the side of other questlog mods like it used to. Is there any way that you could add functionality to change the distance away from the side / distance from the top manually? Like have some kind of options menu inside the side bar that we would click and then perhaps two slide bars. One for left and right the other for up and down. The default position you set could be where the slide bar defaults are and then allow us to manually position the thing to sit neatly on to our quest log again. Would appreciate if you could do this or even if you could get the addon to snap nicely to the side of QuestGuru again. Many thanks. Great addon.

I am using LightHeaded and QuestGuru. Both were working fine together. But when i use QuestGuru 1.2 with LightHeaded, there are problems. When i click on a quest, LightHeaded shows everytime the informations of the first quest in the quest list and not the informations of the quest i selected. Can you please fix this? Thanks Larry

But I have not been able to get lightheaded to work in WoW since the new patch eariler this week. I even deleted what I had and re-downloaded it. What can I do to get it to work? I can't find anything with the directions given in the quests themselvs. HELP.

Lightheaded is not showing up in the addon list in game at all. TomTom and Jame's leveling guides are though.

Then you don't have the addon installed properly. I suggest you read the readme file included in the zip file, and ensure its installed correctly.

Thank you, This did help.

I also found out that part of my problem is that a friend who was helping me moved my addon file to a different location so lightheaded was not syncing with curse client or WoW. My mother, who also plays, noticed this and helped me move my file to the correct locatoin.

I used to be able to click on the (blue) coordinates and it would then add a line "path" from my current location to the coordinates location. (I use the Carboniteaddon, and its map has always displayed Lightheaded coordinates properly). How do it get it to work again? SECOND QUESTION: How do users incorporate their own comments into the Lightheaded text pane? I've searched the forum, but cannot find any reference to the procedure.
