Hmm, had a thought strife, So we can set targets with one click:

This would solve the issue having limited mobility, any thoughts on a custom macro i can bind to my middle mouse button?

This would be the same as ctrl+alt+rightclick

When out of group or raid we were able to target 1 npc or player and it would show as a target button, this option is gone? was that by design?

Can we please not do a predefined ctrl-alt-right click to set targets? Can it be a spell combo option where we can define it? please?

Maybe a high light option for the selected targets.

searching here and on curse have never been able to figure how to do this either, and i didin't see a response to this. Visually keeping groups together while knowing which class is which is important I think.

Another question on header options sliders -- no matter where I move them width or textures do not change anything. (Ive been using this add since the begging I think, maybe I have to erase my lua files??) As my bars are quite small for 25 man raids this takes up a lot of space as the spacing of header names/character size/space between I can't seem to reduce .

Combined with what czokalapik is asking, a lot of scrren "real estate" would be saved and heal bot could be locked down to a correct size -- the only big advantage of Grid, other than bells and whistles I don't need for my pala. As a fan I persevere with healbot ... BUT I'm going BLIND lol!!! I want to see the boss for a change

Could anyone here steer me (us) in the right direction or give me a link to something that explains how to do this. thanks so much in advance, brilliant work in anycase

This is really difficult and if you dont have group header on it doesnt show a toggle or high light for your targerts list. Could we have a skin option to highlight targets?



Removed targets from Healing tab
New pre defined combo Ctrl+Alt+Right added to allow adding Targets to a target list, can be used for those you need to focus on.

Is there a problem with Show Targets. After version HealBot_2.3.2.0 i cannot create a target list. I went back to HealBot_2.3.2.0 and i can see targets that i check off to greate a custom group

The option is config is gone in the new version as well, i see show pets - extras and so on but no targets.

Please tell me this is a bug?

Any chance the buff display might show the number of lifebloom stacks on the healbot frame?

any chance you might program in /readycheck support? As a healer I ONLY use these as my raid frames, so I will not have readycheck indicators unless they get programmed into Healbot (or I start using raid frames again, yuck)

Ok little problem with updated Healbot now the click spots on the hud are off . (only certain spots i can click to heal folks bad abd in a fast healing raid

I'm away from the game for a few days so I can't experiment live! But I suspect the reason for this is to deal with HoT instant like renew which will recieve more of the healing bonus than an instant like Holy Shock.

Still Holy Light say, (2.5/3 vs 2.5/3.5) * healing_bonus is not majorly out, it would be nice if the formula was right (again I'm open to the fact I've missed some aspect of what the routine is trying to do ).

How does healbot workout what healing a unit is recieving from other players? Does it only know about other healers who have healbot installed or does it get all the info from the incomming events from the game?

Is the estimated healing from other players correct regards to heal_bonus and casting time and down ranking?

Can the range checking take into account spells which have different ranges, eg Holy Shock vs Flash of Light.

I'm a new healbot user and just downloaded 2.3.0.6. I wanted to check it took into account the down ranking penalty and the healing bonus modified on casting time adjustment.

I don't think healbot is calculating the correct healing bonus modifcation based on spell casting time in function HealBot_FindHealSpells() in healbot.lua.

In this routine we have

RealHealing = ((HealBot_HealingBonus * healingbonus_penalty) * (temp_Spell_cast/3));

The spell casting time should be divided by 3.5 rather than 3.

In this routine it assumes for the purposes of the bonus an instant spell (cast time of zero) has casting time of 3 when it should be 1.5.

This little condition

if HealBot_Spells[spell].Cast >= 1.5 and HealBot_Spells[spell].Cast <
3 then

should also have 3.5.

I figured this one out. I had created macros with the same name as my spells. The macros had their own targeting logic built in. By default, my macros would target me if I didn't have anything else targeted.

It would probably be a good idea to make a note somewhere that if you use any macros with targeting logic in Healbot, the macros targeting logic will override anything that Healbot tries to do.
