Lots of people have wanted to see a video of how this works.

This is a simple rune tracking mod heavily based on Rune Hero.
When you use a rune it moves out to the left or right and fades then slowly moves back to the center when it is ready to use. The idea is to always have one place to check for your runes. If the box is empty dump some runic power. You should have close to one GCD left before your rune is ready when it crosses the border of the box. In a future release I may change the color of the box border when there is one GCD left before a rune is ready.

This mod uses custom rune art based on the runes on the Ebon Blade that you receive at the end of the death Knight start area. In a future release I may include options to change the rune art.

Version 1.5.2 - updated version number to work with 3.1

Version 1.5.1 - I finally added slash command support. /RunePack or /Runepack or /runepack will open the RunePack configuration page.

Version 1.5 - Fixed a reported bug about saving Runic Power state and changed the way I save/load variables. Also, changed the background texture to fix an alignment problem that was probably only bothering me.

Version 1.4 - Big changes on the configuration. If you don't delete your saved variables you may get an error when you run it for the first time. adjust the location and scale and it should run fine after that. Now includes OOC opacity and background opacity sliders.

Version 1.3.2 - 2 small changes. I made my own frame background art. I think it looks a lot better and it might make the overlaps easier to see. I also let the scale be infinitely adjustable instead of size increments.

Version 1.3 - Big release! Finally have a working control panel UI. All options are controlled on the Interface > Addons menu now. You can unlock the frame and drag it anywhere you want. You can Hide the Runic Power number as requested :) and you can adjust the scale via a slider. Enjoy!

Version 1.2.2 - Whoops introduced a bug in 1.2.1 that kept you from moving the addon. fixed in 1.2.2

Version 1.2 - New rune art! I cleaned up my original art a lot and stylized the runes a little more. I also hide the default rune bar now.

Version 1.1 - Added outlining to the runic power number to make it more readable on certain game surfaces. Also, added commented code to trigger additional runic power color changes for IBF and UB.

3.1 Patch

This should still be working I tested on the PTR early on and it was fine but I didn't have a chance to test with the most recent build.

Since people keep asking me about disease tracking; I figured I'd post what I use. This is Power Auras configured as a disease tracker. I'm a big fan of Power Auras and the way it encourages creative and customized alerting. http://www.wowinterface.com/download...asClassic.html

I'm still on the fence. There are so many good debuff tracking mods that I haven't felt a real need. I abhor addon bloat so if I ever do write one it will be a separate addon that happens to work well with rune pack.

I just recently switched from Classtimer to Power Auras. Its pretty cool and has a lot of configuration options.

I bought the gloves recently but hadn't had a chance to use them. CoI'ing a dummy just now shows no issues (other than wishing the proc chance was a little higher...)

I do still get issues sometimes though, with runes being shown as unused after I've used them, but clearly still being unable to use corresponding abilities. It isn't the fault of the mod though, it's the fault of Blizzard as far as my testing has shown me.

Actually, this is wierd. It works today? I spent a good 20mins at the target dummies yesterday investigating, could've been something they threw along with the other hotfixes I guess and if so then it was a blizzard ui problem and not really related to this addon I suppose, dumb as I am I didn't test it with the default ui yesterday.

Anyway problem solved though

Since I don't have the gloves I don't have a good way to test this. Can you make sure that your frost rune is available and that Rune Pack isn't showing that? I don't know why it wouldn't work it is only based on rune availability as defined by the game. For example there is no special code for Blood Tap or Empowered Rune Weapon.

the addon don't seem to support the new pvp gloves bonus;

"Whenever you cast Chains of Ice, there is a chance that your Frost Rune will immediately refresh."

it dosn't recognize the 'new' rune whatsoever.

I've had that request before. The way it is implemented now that's a non-trivial change. In the future for a possible 2.0 release I think I will implement a lot of the options people have asked for like rune art choices, slide direction and possibly some different layouts.

Thanks a lot! I've been having second thoughts because I've had people tell me they won't use my mod since it doesn't use the default runes.

On a separate note I uploaded a new version today!

This is THE BEST looking rune mod I've seen to date, excluding the default. All the others I have seen are, simply put, ugly.. and something I wouldn't been seen dead with in my UI.

I just fixed the Runic Power bug. Version 1.5 is awaiting approval.
I didn't implement that fading recommendation yet I need to look at my options more.

I don't know about fading on the off cooldown in addition to OOC. I use it as a combat indicator so I know I wouldn't want that. If it is an easy option to add I'll consider it. The RP number coming back after you log is just a bug. I'll try to fix it. I don't use that option so I've never noticed.
