Bongos Cornucopia  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)

Version: Cornucopia 0.14
by: jaliborc [More]

Introduction

Bongos Cornucopia is the successor of Bongos Skinned Map. It adds many extra Bongos bars to your interface. Some bars are really simple, others are highly customizable.
Hardcore users may be glad to know that, besides Bongos Cornucopia being divided into several addons, most of them are modular.
Please always use the newest Bongos 3 version to prevent bugs!

Included Addons

  • Bongos Durability: A movable and customizable armor durability bar
  • Bongos Clock: A simple and movable clock
  • Bongos Coords: Movable coordinates system
  • Bongos Minimap: An highly customizable minimap
  • Bongos PvP: BG and Capture bars
  • Bongos Quests: Movable and customizable quest watch and timer bars with quest levels and other features
  • Bongos Reputation: A separated reputation bar
  • Bongos Tooltip: A simple movable tooltip
  • Bongos ZoneMap: Makes the zone map movable as a Bongos bar

I'm not sure what would be causing it, WoW basically ignores it. The quests still track in the default zone, and everything else is where it normally would be, except for the battle ground indicators, which appear in different corners of the screen at random. I can't figure out what's going on!
I have a somewhat similar issue: BG, Capture, Quest Tracker, Quest Timer -- nothing shows up there. And while I now have the Zone Text frame (it was hidden behind FuBar), there is no text in the frame!

Make sure you have enabled the option "Show Lua errors" in the Interface options. If it is enabled and still no bug is fired, then I advice you to delete your bongos WTF files, because it may be an incompatibility with the Tuller's discontinued Bongos Minimap versions.
A screenshot would also help me to understand your problem.

So basically the only things actually showing up are the BG tracker and the quest tracker, and they just kinda throw themselves wherever. Any ideas?

Bongos Cornucopia Users:

An user posted today a feature request at my portal: raid frames for Bongos. In my personal opinion, I think that it makes more sense to include those raid frames in Sage and not in Bongos.
But I don't want to make any decision before hearing what the other users think.
So, which is your opinion?

Thanks.

As to the question, I found most every raid frame but PerfectRaid to be too cluttery (like my entire interface), and I generally avoided them. A Bongos raid frame would probably be pretty awesome though.

I will keep your opinion in mind. Thank you for your fast answer!

By the way, can you please check if you have the option "Show Lua errors" in the Interface options enabled? If not, then please reload your UI and see if any bug is fired. (I know that I already said this in my last post, but I got no answer)

I've been testing the code shared between Bongos Quests and PvP but I found no bug. Have you tried to disable all your addons except Bongos3 and Cornucopia?
If the bug persists, then I have another idea:
  1. Create a temporary new character
  2. Disable all addons except Bongos3 and Cornucopia
  3. Log in on the new character
  4. Check if the bug persists (use the default profile)

This is just a way I remembered to see if the Saved Variables are corrupted without deleting the WTF files.

EDIT: You can delete the temporary character after the test

capture box

is there a dependancy, because it shows me nothing. also i posted a few requests, or will be shortly.

as for sage, it doesn't support raid at all. and i am unimpressed with it as an interface. i like the wow player/party/pet/tot setup, and i like focus-frame's wowishness for focus. (allthough, it would be nice to have a positioner that works like bongos-cornucopia does for durability and stuff)

i nearly have enough bongos/cornucopia to eliminate move-it :>

I know that Sage does not have any raid unit frames. The idea would be asking Tuller to add them to that addon.
But, if more users agree with this feature, I may add it to Cornucopia.

Re: capture box

does the capture box, which i assume is for capture bars, need something other than b/cornucopia to work?

Minimap

I have an oddly thing that is happening with the minimap in Cornucopia b6 and Bongos b11-g1.

On the first character that I set up the minimap for, everything works as expected. On every other character, whether I copy the profile from the original character or start anew (even to the point of creating an entirely new character on a new server), the minimap acts peculiar.

When you change the shape of the minimap, the border and the map itself changes shape. However, the map itself seems independent of the border and will move outside of the border if not a circle. For example, in a square frame if you do not move then all looks well. There is a square map inside of a square border. If you then rotate your character (and "spin the map") then the border stays put while a square map rotates beneath it. You can see its corners rotate outside of the border.

As another example, on the original character, I have the map set to a tear-drop shape. When I rotate my character, the map rotates within the border (with the border always filled with visible map and none of the map ever coming outside the border). I think of this like a window effect. On any other character, a teardrop-shaped map will itself rotate independent of the border and at certain times rotate outside the teardrop-shaped border.

I will attempt to include a couple screen shots with the problem illustrated.

No, you don't need nothing besides Bongos Cornucopia to make the capture bar work.
But I warn you that it is has never been tested, because I don't have any high-level character to do so (I'm stuck at lvl 25 ).

I'm sorry but that is a game bug and there's no way to fix it (at least, not for now). When you set a minimap shape that not the Round one, the minimap will "get crazy" in outdoors. This happens in every minimap mod that changes the minimap shape.
Unfortunately, Blizzard still has to fix many minimap bugs
But thank you for your good bug report!

greycobalt: The reason of your bug has just been found: it's an addon interfering. I'm trying to fix it right now.

EDIT: Thank you all for your interest in Bongos Cornucopia in the last weekend. Thanks to all your support, I found how to fix some bugs and I had new ideas for future versions.

It should be released soon. Tuller has approved just now a change to the Bongos Core that will let me easily fix the incompatibility bug.
