    Headline (Nameplates)  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)

    Very lightweight nameplates addon.

    Nameplates for hostile players are classcolored.

    Nameplates for hostile mob's are threatcolored in combat!
    green: low or no threat
    yellow: medium threat
    red: aggro

    /headline for basic settings:
    - height
    - width
    - font size
    - level display
    - amplified target

    Since this is a forked overhead: credits to p3lim.

    i think this is not possible. this addon just replaces the standard textures and blizzard decided to not color the friendly players. threat-level is gained through the vertexcolor from the standard threat texture.

    is there an addon out there that can do this?

    btw: why the hell are you displaying friendly nameplates anyway.

    I realized it would be by editing the lua when I wrote that post, only when I looked at the lua there wasn't anything obvious where I'd had to change a 0 into a 1, since I can't read lua.

    I did search for "text", but it only gave me 1 result which I assume is the name of a player. Could you please point me in the right direction? Once that is added, this addon would be perfect for pvp.

    mmm so is there a way to swap the colors around for say tanks?

    this addon did not work for me. not sure if another addon I have enabled was blocking it but I couldnt see name plates or hostile player names.

    ouf_elen is the culprit I think? not sure

    Just got it. I should have been sleeping too Thank you for this addon. It's simple, light weight and just right. Too many nameplate addons are getting carried away with code bloat, options and dumb themes.
