WIM (WoW Instant Messenger) is a World of Warcraft addon which helps you to manage your whispers by making them into a classic instant messenger interface such as AIM, Yahoo and MSN.

With game play in mind, WIM has a large array of options where you can customize how WIM interacts during different situations, such as while you are in combat or in town talking to friends or selling your crafts.

Also I was curious if it was likely you'll make an option to display tabs within the window along the top edge as opposed to outside it..like typical IM clients do Great Addon, Thanks! "Edit" As of today oddly enough I'm noticing a new issue.. /target no longer works..says wim is performing an action reserved for the Blizzard UI..never used to be a problem.. I'm going to try to edit my savedvariables to turn it off since there seems to be no other way to control it.

Very professional, and for possibly the first time ever, a mod works exactly the way I'd like it to, and I don't even have to go do ugly dirty hacks at the source code! I thought Forgotten Chat was a nice improvement over the default method of handling tells until this came along. You've helped me reclaim my screen real estate when conducting business. There is a setting under the general tab (/wim) As far as linking quest names, that should be easy enough. I have never tried cellular, and am leary on trying it now. For the same reasons that I never tried ForgottenChat, I do not want to steal any ideas from these other addons. I prefer to keep things original. Though WIM and the others may share features, I like to take my own approach at coding. Knowing something else is available may tempt me to do otherwise.
