Lucidity - Simplifies the default action bars.

This is my personal action bars modification. Since this addon does only simplify them, any addons for them like rActionButtonStyler should work.

Additionally, some extra functions are at the end of lua file. If you don't like them, you can delete them safely.

Any thoughts, ideas and surely any helps are welcome. Please leave your comments.

100212 renames a micro button (LFDMicroButton) and toc update.

091124 clean up with some extras.

I heard something wrong with pet actionbar that I want to fix but no info for me atm. Maybe a screen shot? To Hotcooler You mean the aligning in "no-compact" is strange? If so, that makes me cry. In fact there is almost nothing changed from previous one at the part. I will look into it anyway.

IMO just bring up previous version, add moveable and scalable bag/char/macro frame to compact modes, fix small issues nad here you go. Not this one. This last update and the previous where the pet bar was miss aligned have been my least favorite though. As a pet class player, having to fix the pet bar alignment before I can play using Lucidity has not been fun to do. You last version was not too bad to fix, but this one is confusing when reading your configuration notes. I do know that English is not your best language, but in previous version it was easy to figure out what you were doing and how to change things. This time though i decided not to use your latest version as your LUA notes confused me. (I'm tired form doing lots of school work on top of it). __________________ Busy modifying your code for my own UI.

That's (hopefully) true. But since Lucidity want to reuse the default UI, something "unnatural" way makes me wander "Is is really needed?" For instance, 3rows style (style_Wavelet) is unnatural thing for me. 3rows itself is ok but the problem is about stance/shape/pet bar. These bars were built to be above 2rows' height by default. I know I can do it anyway but I think Lucidity is already too big for its simple (does anyone remember the old Lucidity that uses memory 0.5kb?) job.

"So, why did you add that once?" Yea, I'm sorry about that. I did add it because of my thoughtlessness. Pre wotlk, the main action bar is more static object but not now ...

You can try rBars2 that is really superior to Lucidity. And I heard that Roath may rewrite his old one that should be nice.

For the menu bar that I never want to have. But for common sense I think I have to add them.

(Oh my ... I hate the lack of my English ability)

Update: And it's not working with horses... But after you get off the horse the interface will pop back.

I'm not on wotlk still but as I can tell by reading their codes, it's good to disable the offset I think. Yes, it's sad to me but it makes things more simple. I want to do a couple things in a week hopefully. - Unload the textures (not vehicle's) we do not want to see instead of hiding. It may save memory. (They said so at least) - Hide the vehicle's textures. (They will unload them when you get off the vehicle btw) - Scale down the vehicle's buttons if it's needed. - Disable "Blizz" and "3-rows" layouts because nobody (include me) want to use them I think. One more thing I don't like to say that I may disable the latency bar to keep consistency. If you need it badly, please let me know. I know I can add it with own codes (means not re-use the default) but I'm afraid that it will be a kind of superfluity. Btw I'm using the Lunchtime along with Lucidity and it's working fine for me still.

AnElk A Kobold Labourer Forum posts: 0 File comments: 42 Uploads: 0	The only vehicle I have tried was some sort of siege tank near the starting area on Borean Tundra. I just installed Lich King the other day so I have a lot to explore... When I enter the tank, hotbars disappear... Unfortunately, they stay gone after exiting the vehicle also. I have to reload UI to get actionbars back and when I do, they look OK. Re-loading while in the vehicle does nothing tho. Having watched my wife play, and she does not use any UI addons at all, the actionbars changes completely with a vehicle. New frame, new background, new orientation and size of the buttons/keys on actionbar.
