Holy Pally LUI - 1600 by 900 Wide

Version: 3.0
by: Protigee [More]

Protigee's LUI Customization

This is LUI with some slight modifications for Holy Pallys. It will also work for other types of healers if you were to delete some of the optional Holy Pally mods.

The original LUI can be downloaded here http://wow-lui.com/

A link to my other Holy Pally interface can be found here http://www.wowinterface.com/downloads/info16587-HolyPallyUI.html#info

HOW TO INSTALL

Step 1. Backup your Interface, and WTF folder.
Step 2. Delete your old Interface, and WTF folder.
Step 3. Extract my Interface and WTF files into your World of Warcraft folder.
Step 4. Open the WTF folder and rename [Your Account Name], [Your Server Name] and [Your Character Name] to suit your needs.
Step 5. Log in and go to the top right and click the cog wheel (2nd option from the right), alternatively you can also type /lui. While there go to the option marked 'Profiles' it is all the way at the bottom. In the drop down box called 'Existing Profiles' change it to 'Protigee'. Reload UI if you need to, /rl

Additional Information

- Works best with 1600x900 Wide Resolution.

Problems found and fixes to them
- UI Scaling (v 1.0) - Fix: move the bar to the farthest spot on the left, move it 5 ticks to the right.
- UI Scaling (v 2.0) - Fix: move the bar to the farthest spot on the left, then reload UI.
- Profiles not loading - Fix: Go to step 5 above.
- Recount shifting - Fix: reload / log out / let it automatically correct itself.
- Micro Menu - ATM I cannot find a fix to this. Will update the UI if I do. (Upload optional files if you find a simple fix for this)

- 2.0 - Made the UI Scaling smaller and changed the color scheme. Re sized a lot of the text, and moved the info text at the top around. Bigwigs, Omen, and Pallypower were moved around. I also put a backdrop around the chat box.

- 3.0 - Changed where the castbars are located (Player / Target). Moved Bigwigs mods around and changed colors. Added Recount back in, but on the right side of Omen.
Optional Files (0)

Hi,
i follow your instructions but it does not look like the picture.
How high is your interface scaling and how big is your screen?
And did you support different resolutions?
Sorry for my bad english...

Thanks

Interface scaling = 5 ticks from the farthest point on the left. Set your bar all the way to the left and move it right 5 times.

My customizations themselves do not support different resolutions, while if you did have to use a different resolution I'm sure that you could move some of the things around and it might work.

Also, maybe try to download LUI from wow-lui.com and log into your character first and make sure the LUI looks like it does on his site. Then delete the WTF folder that the original LUI had put in there and copy paste mine there.

If you have any more problems be sure to post, I will respond as fast as possible

It doesnt seem to want to keep your LUI set up. If I apply the WTF to a character and go ingame all of the addons (recount, grid, omen, bartender) did not keep your profiles. I have to load each one manually, and then it only looks somewhat similar to your UI. The unit frames and grid are still in the original positions that they would be for LUI along with the cast bars and cooldown timer. Any idea how to fix this? I've tried loading the "Protigee" profile in the LUI config interface but it does nothing.

Thanks for letting me know.

So far I have been able to produce the scenarios you two have mentioned.

What I have done so far is move my own Interface and WTF folders to a new section of My Computer so WoW could not read them. Then I downloaded my UI from this site and extracted all of the files into my WoW folder. While there I renamed my 'Account name' 'Realm Name' and 'Character Name' to my own information (I used an alt that was named Probank for the time being so I didn't automatically get the settings from Protigee loaded up right away). The Recount / Grid / Omen / Bartender were in the original LUI position. When I logged on to Protigee, it loaded up all of the addons correctly, so it is an issue with the Profile settings.

Will fiddle with the settings some more and see if I can change it.

Your best bet would be to load all the 'Protigee' profiles for right now until I can find a solution to this. Or you could always change your character name to Protigee

Alright, I think I have found an easy fix to this.

Do all of the install instructions, rename the files, log in. Now, go to the top right and click the cog wheel (2nd option from the right), alternatively you can also type /lui. While there go to the option marked 'Profiles' it is all the way at the bottom. In the drop down box called 'Existing Profiles' change it to 'Protigee'

This should fix any problems you may be having with certain addons not in the right place.

(Note: Sometimes Recount will get shifted like 2 or 3 places up / down / left / right, it is nothing to worry about and after a few logins / reloads it will revert itself.)

(Note: this will not fix UI scaling / Resolution problems, that you will have to set yourself.) What can be done though is going into video settings, and moving UI Scaling option all the way to the left, then move it 5 ticks to the right for optimal scaling with my UI. Also, change your resolution to 1600 by 900 Wide.

Thanks

I just wanted your pallypower set up. I DL'd your file and copied the saved variables for it and I still cant see the pallypower frame. I know its loaded and there, and I can hit the buff key and people get buffed. I just want to the the frame like in your image to match the LUI.

Help?

You would have to pull out something that the original owner put into the Interface folder. I cannot find it, nor do I plan to screw with my own UI to find it. You might want to visit wow-lui.com and post under the Support forum and ask them what the certain skin or .lua file is to do that to Pally Power.

Love the way it looks, only have a couple of questions/comments. I've been able to figure most of the UI out by myself.

- The cooldown timer bar looks like SexyCooldown but I can't find any options to move it. Which addon is it part of?

- I see how Omen has a custom look on your screen shots but when I pull it up, it doesn't take any of the display options you've set in the profile. How do I get rid of the title bar?

Thanks for the excellent UI!

In the upper right-hand corner, just above the LUI options (game, social, character, LUI config, etc) there are 3 buttons - the one on the left is for Pally Power, the one in the middle is for the LUI options, and the one on the right is for the minimap.

The Cooldown timer is called ForteXorcist. Type /lui and under the General tab click on 'ForteXorcist' and change the Padding X and Padding Y.

For the Omen fix, type /omen config and then click on 'Title Bar Settings' tab. Uncheck 'Show Title Bar'.

If you want it to look like mine, you should type /omen config and click 'Profiles'. Copy 'Protigee'. - It should have already loaded from when you did Step 5 though. -

Oh sorry, I thought he/she just wanted to pull out PallyPower from my UI and that was it.

Sorry about the confusion and thanks for helping him/her out.

If someone finds a good place to put the cast bar, I'll put up an update for the addon.

ATM it's in an ugly place and I cannot, for the life of me, find a good place to put it.

Love the look of this UI!
Unfortunately I have problems installing it. I usually use the standard version of the LUI.
I deleted my Interface and wtf folder, the font folder is the one in the wtf folder right?
When I unpack your files and enter wow, I get the standard install message of the LUI. When I click the cogwheel and go to profiles, you're profile isnt an option! So Im stuck with the standard look of the LUI + the extra addons you added!
Please help!

*Edit*
Okay, I've been fiddling some with the installment of the addon. I know managed to not make the standard LUI load on start up. Im also able to 'see' you're different profiles under the profile setting on LUI.
My problem now is; none of the profiles will load. I click them and nothing
happens! *aaaargghhh*!!

*Edit*
Fixed it myself! Thx for a great UI!
