It makes SuperDuperMacro work on PTR and most likely Cataclysm when it's live. It does not fix anything. It does not add features. It just makes it work on WoW 4.x as it now works on 3.3.5.

=\

I tried this earlier today and I still get the same error "A macro script has been blocked from an action only available to the Blizzard UI".

With the fix I replaced the old .LUA file with this new one, maybe this was not the correct thing to do?

Please respond, as I really want to use super duper macro for some pro dpsing

I am also running version 3.3.5 of World Of Warcraft.

Re: =\

Works for me in Cataclysm beta. You macro might do something BlizZzard doesn't like.

re 4.0.1 fix.

Simple question does the file included in the zip replace the existing one?

I have done that and still I get not button on my macro window to re-enable my macros stored here.

Thanks for the quick fix!!

It fixes everything, works so much better since 4.0.1 destroyed it >< !

evlyxx: I just unzipped it like normal, didn't delete the old files or anything. Fixed the button problem.

Only thing now is SDM is putting weird comments into my chat window; they look like commands but aren't. They aren't affecting addons or gameplay as far as I can tell, more of an annoyance. When I get a chance I'll copy paste some of them here.

Drop in SuperDuperMacro Folder!

Thanks, so much for this fix!

At first I dropped the LUA file directly into the Addons folder out of habit/....

Didn't work, lol.

Dragged it into SuperDuperMacro folder in the Addons folder.

Works like it always has

Thanks again!

[02:52:26] sdm_DefaultMacroFrameLoaded
[02:52:26] test
[02:52:26] $parent_sdmOkayButton

There are the errors I'm getting; it's only on first loading of WoW, when I hit the "Macros" button in the game menu. O.o

I spoke too soon :(

When others loot in dungeons I get the big LUA error code screen in my face. It doesn't happen everytime (like 2/3'ish).... very frustrating to close the error screen 50 times for Utgarde Keep.

I didn't cut & paste the error - my servers down at the moment. I'll do it later if somebody wants to see it and thinks it could help.

Ok after reading everyone elses reply I know now that I have placed this fix in the right place but it did not fix it. If you all had to unzip ur file then that might be my problem. File says it is a zip file but does not give me option to unzip it. Any1 know how to fix this.

I get frequent errors along these lines (just while I'm out and about doing stuff, not necessarily using macros, superduper or otherwise):

SuperDuperMacro-1.8.3\SuperDuperMacro.lua:1481: attempt to index global 'arg1' (a nil value)

Working for 4.0.1

So far this patch has fixed all issues I was having. Thanks!

I turn my errors off, so I don't know if there are internals which are still odd. Everyone please note that this patch just "makes it work" without fixing any bugs that existed before 4.0.1.. and there were a bunch.

SuperDuperMacro WoW 4.x fix 3

I just uploaded a fix (nr. 3) for the "weird comments in chat window". I used them for debugging and forgot to remove them.

"SuperDuperMacro-1.8.3\SuperDuperMacro.lua:1481: attempt to index global 'arg1' (a nil value)" is fixed in fix 2.

SuperDuperMacro WoW 4.x fix 3 includes fix 1 and 2.
