LeephUI

Version: 1.1
by: adaroundtown [More]

I think with this update I've improved on the original Leeph UI. I wanted to get the bottom of the screen to feel less cramped, wanted less on the screen when not in a group, and was feeling a bit less hung up on symmetry.

None of the add-ons were made by me and a big thanks to all authors who have released all of their great mods for us all to enjoy. Most, if not all, of the add-ons included with this UI have some sort of in-game configuration, so are typically user-friendly for coding neophytes, like myself. I use a bunch of other add-ons for different things, but have only included those which effected the appearance of the UI as a whole. You'll want to hunt out your own Boss warning mods, auction house stuff, etc.
LeephUI has been made on a 1920 x 1080 display. If your display is a different size you may need to do some resizing of the various elements in order for the UI to best fit your screen.

One add-on I haven't included is Bind Pad. I use Bind Pad along with my Razr Naga mouse and a heap of hover-target-cast (mouseover) macros for all of my healing spells. I've tried out Healbot, Grid, and Vuhdo for healing in parties and raids, but was never able to get them to look just the way I wanted (I mentioned my lack of coding skills) so that they matched the overall theme of the U.I. By creating the macros and then configuring my PitBull4 party and raid frames to match the rest of the UI, I am able to achieve the same functionality as HB, Grid and VuhDo, but maintain an overall look. Here's an example of such a macro:

#showtooltip
/target mouseover
/cast Lifebloom

Check out the following posting by Sydera for more on creating Mouseover Macros:
http://www.worldofmatticus.com/2009/03/23/a-guide-to-mouseover-macros/

To install, follow the usual steps:

Make sure you back up your "Interface and WTF" folder. Copy the LeephUI files and paste them to your World of Warcraft folder.

If you have macros, then Gusvr6 suggests you follow this simple step. Copy your "macros-cache.txt" file which is located in "wtf/account/your_account"/.

ACCOUNT - rename to your wow account.
Server - rename to your toons realm name.
Character - rename to your toon that you want the UI used.

Then place "macros-cache.txt" back into the new wtf folder under "wtf/account/your_account"/.

Log into the game and make sure the "Load out of date addons" is checked. Type "/reflux switch LeephUI" (case sensitive).

Type /kgpanels config. Go to layouts, click on "Leeph" and then click activate.

At this point, your screen should look like the screenshots attached here. However, if it doesn't, you may have to go into some of the various add-ons and set the profiles. All profiles are listed as LeephUI. If things still don't look the way they do in the pics, feel free to post questions and i'll help out as best i can.

List of Add-Ons:

Bartender4 - action bars, type /bt for configuration
Basic Experience Bar
Button Facade (though I think they're calling it Masque these days - don't quote me on that)
Decursive - interface menu
FamBags - interface menu or notice the config tab on the bag itself
Sexy Cooldown - interface menu
Hide Boss Frames
kgPanels - for options type /kgpanels config
Mapster - interface menu
mNameplates
MonkeyBuddy- interface menu
MonkeyQuest
MonkeyQuestLog
nibMicroMenu - interface menu
Omen - interface menu
OmniCC
Pitbull4 - for options type /pb
Postal
Prat - interface menu
Quartz - type /quartz
Raven - type /raven
Recount- interface menu or type /recount
Reflux
SexyMap - interface menu or right click mini map
Skinner - interface menu
SLDataText - type /sldt
TipTac - type /tiptac
VanasKoS - interface menu
XLoot
XLootGroup
XLootMonitor

Moved various things around to make it seem less cramped.
Replaced Forte with Sexy Cooldown as the only thing I was using in Forte was the Cooldown Bar.
Changed settings for certain components to only show when in a party or raid.
Changed settings for certain components to only show when active (Cooldown bar and mouseover Bartender4 bars)
Optional Files (0)

I would love to get rid of this because doing AV the frames actually cover my little rogue. I couldn't find the addon related to pitbull that controls this.. lil help?
If you open pitbull4 (type: /pb) the pitbull4 config will open. click on groups. where it says "current group" select "Raid10". click on filtering and then uncheck boxes for all the raid parties, except for the "5 man" as that is your 5 man dungeon party. unless, of course, you want to use healbot for that as well. i've got hover-cast macros set up for all of my healing spells and i bind them with an add-on called "bind pad". this works the same way as healbot does and maintains the look of the UI (healbot is a great add-on, but due to my lua noobness, i've never been able to get it to look the way i wanted it to). here's an example of one of the macro scripts i use to get the same functionality as healbot when using pitbull4:

#showtooltip
/target mouseover
/cast Healing Touch

the #showtooltip part assigns the icon to match the spell and the rest of it makes the hover-cast part work.

all of the pit bull frames can be moved around by unlocking them at the top. you can also click "solo" in the configuration drop down to pull up frames not currently in play and then move them around as well. unfortunately, pitbull4 is unable to do this with party and raid frames and you actually have to be in a party to see these frames (that's where your guildie farming buddies can help out). try "screengrid" or "ealign" to pull up a grid for frame positioning on your screen.

thanks for the tip on reflux. a couple of people have had problems loading the ui and that might be why. as for your map issue, it's easy enough to fix in the add-on settings. open your interface - add ons panel. go to sexymap. go to borders. set it to square. backgound/edge. the texture you want is Fer04. to match the colour, open the colour picker and enter (from top to bottom) 116, 116, 116, 0. that should do the trick

i've actually updated the ui a bit and tried to free up some more screenspace. will be uploading the update when i have a chance.

enjoy

Oh yeah.. and by default my reflux addon wasn't checked in the logon screen. May want to check that out for those who can't get /reflux switch to work. Just FYI

When I enter the interfaces for the addons individually it says that LeephUI has already been selected as the profile. Do you have any idea how I can fix this? I really like the look of this UI and was hoping that I would be able to utilise it.

I realise that my resolution is 1600 x 900 and may not be compatible, however it should still be possible somehow.

Hi there. Type /kgpanels config and take a look at the top left where it says "layouts", click on Leeph or LeephUI and then click activate. see if that works to bring up your kgpanels. make sure to do a reload ui after you switch with reflux, as well.

hey there, glad you like it. everything's pretty easy to adjust, especially if you've fiddled with add-ons before. tried to make sure everything had an in-game configuration. enjoy, and thanks for the kind words

This is my first time uploading a UI, so it's good to hear about issues with getting it set up. Thanks. I was able to set it up on my laptop, but as the screens were different sizes, things need to be further configured and moved around. If you're using a screen that's 1920 X 1080
Try this:
/kgpanels config
go to layouts (near the top)
click on the one that says: Leeph and then click activate.
you may need to set the individual profiles for some of the different add-ons. For the experience bar, right click on the bar itself, and the options window should open. Type LeephUI into the window and press load. I tried to include commands to access all of the in-game configuration for each of the add-ons in my UI Description.
Would love feedback. Let me know if it works
