ColdUI  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)

Version: 6.0.3
by: Coldkil [More]

As everyone has realized now, i have stopped working on the UI basically because i have stopped playing WoW altogether.

I feel sorry to not have written here before, there is a lot of people that has shown a lot of support on my work and i didn't thank you enough for that.

I had a lot of fun playing with the UI and following your feedback to improve my work.

I hope that something in the future (maybe another game) will let me do another work similar to this, as it's been by far my best WoW experience during my play time.

See you on next journey and projects.

All-in-one UI pack, working for every resolution, just try it and keep it if you like it! Mess with the code, but i don't support any edit.

Features:
- healer layout available: just set the option to true and /reload ui
- you can enable/disable pretty much any plugin
- extended focus frame available, with portrait and castbar
- datatext can be enabled/disabled too, and background panel can be toggled on/off
- change textures/fonts as you please
- you can setup your personal layout, and if you mess with thing, reset everything

SLASH COMMANDS:
/ch will make appear the help - everything is there
/align brings out a grid, very useful to move things around

Other options can be found in the relative addon config.lua file (or in game if it's provided).

AURORA:
i use an edited version of this addon to match all the Blizzard frames with the ones i designed. In game you should disable all options but the map reskin and the "replace normal game fonts" one.

ACTIONBARS:
just open config.lua in ColdBars addon, it's everything there. There are the same options as before plus some additional functionalities like vertical bars and the possibility to costantly hide pet/stance bar.
Button skin is embedded into the bars addon.
NOW PLUS MOUSEOVER!

About screenshots: they may show MSBT and an aura tracker addon, they aren't included in the package. Sorry, i still havent updated them, hope to do it asap.

CREDITS:
All credits go to respective addon authors.
Thanks to haste, for creating oUF.
Thanks to Caellian, since i've learned destroying you awesome layout.
Thanks to Tukz, i've taken some features from your incredible work.
Thanks to WoWInterface, MMO-Champion and WoWHead for their communities which have helped me a lot.
Bags are a stripped down and reduced to the bone version of Stuffing.
Cooldowns are a "same of above" version of OmniCC.
Runebar is a "same of above" edit if nibRunes.

HOW TO INSTALL:
- Make a backup of your Interface and WTF folders, then move/delete them from WoW directory.
- Unzip the archive.
- Put the folders in the ZIP archive into you Interface/Addons folder.
That's it!

ADDONS LIST:
- alDamageMeter

- oUF_Coldkil
- cError
- ColdBars
- ColdPlates (a very very heavy rDiabloNameplates edit)

In healer layout is there a way to see which buffs are on the target im healing I would like to know when my earth shield drops off but I honestly see nothing for buffs on the target. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I know, it's a little bug i've already found. I'm fixing it right now.

A question: as a healer (which i don't play much) would be useful to filter target buffs to display only yours? I can do that if it's requested.

Another detail: buffs on target are limited to 6, need to increase the number?

Your help will be very useful for everyone

It would be very helpful to show only mine as I know all of the raid buffs that are out already since I have those on me too.

I play a shaman for healing(Leveling a priest for later atm) but the only buffs I would be seeing are my totem buffs, Earth shield and Riptide when its up on my target, so 6 is a perfect amount for me, it may although be nice to have an extra 1 or 2 just in case but its not really needed, so if you don't want the extra work you don't have to do it

Also! Thank you for the quick response.

Is it possible that debuffs on the player are displayed above the player frame. Not at the upper right corner of the screen. I have those things much better in the middle where I have them always in sight (for example: Special Bossdebuffs, like Feeding Frenzy - Rage Face's successful melee attacks increase his physical damage dealt by 5% for 20 sec This effect stacks - Shannox in fire lands). .

Another thing is that the tooltips (play 1600:1050 resolution) are very very small and are hardly to be read. This is not good, especially if you also want to compare items and you can not read the stats correctly. I'm thinking, you should do something. I'm currently "local NORMAL =" Interface \ \ AddOns \ \ oUF_Coldkil \ \ fonts \ \ visitor.ttf "" taken out and the size changed slightly, now the tooltips are at least readable.

I can read them perfectly. Tbh, i made them even smaller for the next update (less text in them).

If it's a font problem, just change and resize it. I made this UI for pixelfont, and they look good only for their default size. Anyway i need to make a better support for non-pixel fonts, a thing that i'm already on.

I don't support UI edits, but i will give you the methods to edit it in a simple way.

As for buffs/debuffs on playerframe: if requested, i'll do it. I'll make also an option to enable/disable them. But if you need to track something specific, i suggest you to use a better addon like powerauras or such.

My Ui can be good for ssome aspects, but it can't be perfect for everything

I use power auras, too. I just need the debuffs on the player frame. Because they are very important in the boss battle and therefore should always be in view. Buffs could stay in the place where they are

There's nothing I'm specifically watching for as a healer other than my buffs so I can renew them when needed and not have to guess at when i'm renewing it.

Lol i love when people is impatient, this means they love the UI

Unfortunately i had little to no free time this weekend, so i had to dealy the UI work.

Hope to get thing ready in a couple of days...don't worry if things don't come up regularly, i'm still following the project and it will stop only when i'll stop playing wow.

Alysrazor energy

Just had an error while fighting Alysrazor.
Something about it's energy type.
Only happens when I target it, and everytime I target it.
I am a Death Knight and we are running it in 25 man.

Thanks for pointing it out. I've verified it happend also with cinderweb drones.

Explanation: targeet power bar is power type colored. Fine, you say, but it seems that alysrazor and the drones are the only units ingame that don't have a power type.

Already fixed it, if color returns "nil", the bar will be just red.

Double-checked the castbar too, since it's class colored and i don't want to find that some mobs don't have a class lol (it shouldn't be, but better to stay on sure ground).

If now servers come up, i can test the new functionalities and put an update for this evening.

Uploaded new release. Fixed things and requests, etc. Gave healers some moe love

Ticks on castabar are still in work, it seems i'm doing something wrong and doesn't catch the spells, but it's a matter of time before it works too.
