Quick Auctions is an auction tool to help speed up auctioning large quantities of items, especially canceling. While primarily Quick Auctions is built for large quantities of items, it can work fine for a few auctions as well. A bit of tweaking is required to get optimal settings, but it is very flexible and smart enough that you can use it for more than just mindlessly undercutting auctions by 1 copper every time. Summary window and craft queues are included so you do not have to memorize every item and quantity you need. Shows total materials required to craft as well as allowing you to click from the craft queue to craft so no searching through everything.
Slash command: /qa (/quickauctions)
Donations
A lot of time went into Quick Auctions, donations are appreciated but not necessary. And it's cheaper than buying gold while not being against the ToS!
Groups
Groups are how you manage what items should be managed by Quick Auctions. You can set auction settings either as a default, or per group giving you flexibility over everything without having to duplicate your settings 50 times. There are no limits to how many items can be grouped, see the configuration in /qa config to set them up.
Mail
Includes a timer in the top left of the mailbox indicating how much time before new mail data becomes available, and if you are not using Postal then QA provides its own auto looting for mail. The auto looter will work with the timer on the mailbox cache so it will loot everything, wait until new mail is available and then keep looting.
Auto mailing can now be done per item or per group to any character you want. For example, you can setup your banker to send uncut gems to your jeweler and you can setup your jeweler to send cut gems to your banker. The auto mailer is intelligent in when it sends mail off, and works best when using QA mail looter. If you are trying to loot herbs from your mailbox while auto mailing them to your scribe, it will send mail off whenever it sees your inventory is full. Basically, if you have 4 open slots it will auto mail/loot with only 4 slots, no more clearing out your bags to loot mail anymore!

Since the last update, I have trouble posting multiple items. It just queues them and sits there doing nothing. Today I looked more closely and noticed what happens. I use QA3 to post glyphs, gems and bags for me. I had 8 bags. QA tries to post 9, I get an error message that I do not have enough items, and everything else is just queued.
Manually posting the bags, then reloading UI fixes it. Doesn't matter how many bags I have, QA always tries to post one more than I actually have. |

Is it possible to add back in how many items were posted?
After mass posting my glyphs only "Scan finished." popped up, not "Finished posting x items." as before. Thanks. |

've been getting the message "Increased buyout price due to going below thresold" thresold is the way it is spelled. No matter what I do it just keeps setting my items at the threshold. So if I have an item threshold at 10g and there lowest auctions is 100g it won't under cut to 99g(my undercut setting is 1g) It will display that message and set it at 10g. I've cleared my settings, reinstalled it, and disabled all other addons it still happens.

Smart cancelling won't disable canceling, I think you are confused on how it functions. If you set a threshold of 10g, you post an item at 12g and then someone posts it at 8g, it won't cancel the 12g item.
The auto cancelling option will only stop canelling but not posting, I'll see about adding a simple page that let's you enable/disable groups by profile, which would hide a group completely. |

Sorry, I was hoping to avoid any confusion, thus the length of my post You are absolutely correct in your understanding of my desire to manage only certain sets of items from a given profile. That is exactly what I want. Now, as for the canceling function...it appears to me that it makes no difference which way I have the global cancel function toggled. It doesn't stop the mod from canceling an auction I have been undercut on in either setting. Perhaps my understanding of the global toggle is incorrect. In my prior post what I said about "auto fallback:" It behaves as expected, you change the general, and the individual allows you to set the opposite. As far as the cancel function however, it sure looks to me like the only way I can stop a cancel is to set it in the individual settings, the global doesn't stop cancels from happening. Thank you for your time.

I'm confused what you're asking, it sounds like you want the smart canceling option to be moved from a global to a global then overridden per group?
It looks like you ultimately want a way of setting profiles so you only manage a certain set of items from each profile, and for all intents and purposes the other groups don't exist? So you have a profile for enchanting and for glyphs, but they have no knowledge of each other when you're on either one. |

Having used this for several months, I must compliment you on the ambitious work you have done on this mod. It is a very useful mod, one which quickly becomes a staple for anyone who works the AH. I wish to report a couple of quirks that I've found.
The General setting 'Enable auto fallback' behaves as expected when you go to an item group and examine it's settings. Whichever the General 'enable auto fallback' is set to, the individual group setting's 'override auto fallback' allows the inverse of the General setting. However, the General setting 'smart canceling' is confusing. The toggle description reads ["Disables canceling of auctions with a market price below the threshold..." However checking this box does NOT in fact disable auto-canceling of items. Nor does un-checking it. The only way to disable auto-canceling of an item is by setting the individual item's 'override cancel setting' to 'disable auto canceling.' This would be much less confusing if this General function behaved in the same manner as the General 'auto fallback' function does, enabling or disabling the function globally and allowing the individual settings to apply the inverse. Next is the apparent inability to set up a profile to only handle 'some' of the groups out of the master list of all item groups. I thought the ability to set the post count to zero would help me to post only enchant mats for example from a profile, and it did, however tweaking the lua to allow this revealed the problem that the mod continues to auto cancel based on the entire master list. When I toggled the General 'smart canceling' I was chagrined to find this had no effect, the entire list was still subject to cancellation. In order to effectively build a profile to only work my enchanting mats then, I need to go through every single item on my master list, set the post counts, and manually toggle 'disable auto cancelling' for each item that is not an enchanting mat. If we expand this scenario to cover a profile for flasks only, I now have to manually toggle 96 items off, to allow the 4 types of flasks on my list to be handled. I would like to see the global cancel function's behavior changed, this would facilitate the ability to set up varying profiles for different item groups. I imagine you have other improvements in this area planned however, so let me thank you for allowing me to detail the only thing I really find lacking in my usage of this mod. Keep up the great work! |

I would like to comment that although using the cancel button to cancel undercut auctions does not cancel auctions with bids, the /qa cancel and I believe /qa cancelall do not check for bids.
I often do a cancelall to refresh my glyphs to 12 hours in the morning before work or at night before going to bed. I would very much like for this to not to cancel my auctions with bids like the cancel button does. This is a wonderful addon and I thank you very much for making it. I am certain I would not be in the glyph market without it. |
