Neav UI  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)

Version: 9.0.4
by: Neal, ballagarba, thomasjohnshannon

Neav UI
This UI compilation will work on all resolution.

I will not help with questions
Most of the addons in this compilation is only configurable via the supplied Lua config files (config.lua), so some basic programming knowledge is highly recommended but not required. A lot of the options are basically setting the value to either true or false depending on if you want to enable or disable the feature.

AddOns include
!Beautycase
!Colorz
nBuff
nChat
nCore
nMainbar
nMinimap
nPlates (by thomasjohnshannon)
nPower
nTooltip
oUF (by Haste)
oUF_Neav
oUF_NeavRaid

Thanks to Haste, kerrang, zork, Tuller, and many more for their great AddOns. And thomasjohnshannon/Grimsbain for making Neav UI compatible with Legion.

Information
A lot of the addons have a config.lua file where you can change some settings. So look first into this file before you ask something! Some addons like nCore, oUF_Neav and oUF_NeavRaid have an in-game configuration.

How can I move the player, target, focus, boss and arena frames?
Use the /neav slash command to toggle the anchors to move the frames around.

How can I move the Pet-, Stance- or Possessbar?
Press Shift + Alt and drag with your left mouse button on the first button of the Pet-, Stance- or Possessbar to move the them.

Commands
/neavrt to move the raid frames.
/rolecheck or /rcheck to do a role check.
/ntooltip toggles the tooltip anchor.
/alertframemover toggles the "talking head" anchor.
/neavcast toggles the anchors for the castbars.
/neavbag toggles the bag bar.
/moveextraactionbar toggles the anchor for the extra action button.

Go to Interface/AddOns/nCore/modules/skins.lua

change everything with DBM to VEM. Or you can copy&paste my code

Code:
    if (IsAddOnLoaded('VEM-Core')) then
        hooksecurefunc(DBT, 'CreateBar', function(self)
            for bar in self:GetBarIterator() do
                local frame = bar.frame
                local tbar = _G[frame:GetName()..'Bar']
                local spark = _G[frame:GetName()..'BarSpark']
                local texture = _G[frame:GetName()..'BarTexture']
                local icon1 = _G[frame:GetName()..'BarIcon1']
                local icon2 = _G[frame:GetName()..'BarIcon2']
                local name = _G[frame:GetName()..'BarName']
                local timer = _G[frame:GetName()..'BarTimer']

                spark:SetTexture(nil)

                timer:ClearAllPoints()
                timer:SetPoint('RIGHT', tbar, 'RIGHT', -4, 0)
                timer:SetFont('Fonts\\ARIALN.ttf', 22)
                timer:SetJustifyH('RIGHT')

                name:ClearAllPoints()
                name:SetPoint('LEFT', tbar, 4, 0)
                name:SetPoint('RIGHT', timer, 'LEFT', -4, 0)
                name:SetFont('Fonts\\ARIALN.ttf', 15)

                tbar:SetHeight(24)
                tbar:CreateBeautyBorder(10)
                tbar:SetBeautyBorderPadding(tbar:GetHeight() + 3, 2, 2, 2, tbar:GetHeight() + 3, 2, 2, 2)

                tbar:SetBackdropColor(0, 0, 0, 0.5)

                icon1:SetTexCoord(0.07, 0.93, 0.07, 0.93)
                icon1:SetSize(tbar:GetHeight(), tbar:GetHeight() - 1)

                icon2:SetTexCoord(0.07, 0.93, 0.07, 0.93)
                icon2:SetSize(tbar:GetHeight(), tbar:GetHeight() - 1)
            end
        end)

            -- hide the pesky range check

        VEM.RangeCheck:Show()
        VEM.RangeCheck:Hide()
        VEMRangeCheck:HookScript('OnShow', function(self)
            self:Hide()
            self.Show = function() end
        end)
    end

hello, ive noticed in BGs that when some shaman put totems, on top of their health nameplate there will be an icon display that totem which is nice, I'm not sure where to modify these but to my question, is it possible to put such icons on top of players if they get buff or debuff? for exmaple i'd like to put icon on top of players nameplate for some important cooldowns like "shieldwall and its duration" just like what the addon "Plate Buffs" does but not as complicated, basically i want cooldowns, offensive and defensive.

since I saw the totem icon i wouldnt imagine its hard to add them myself, or is it?

By the way, just for those that will tell me get the addon "Plate Buffs" I tried, and everytime I get it, it crashes my WoW, apparentely its bad conflict with nPlates addon from this pack, so i had to disable one, and i rather disabled plate buffs cause I like the nameplates of this package.

Masl , thanks alot mate. but does that changes the skin without even getting the other third party addon BobDBM? or do I still need to edit the nCore file + get the BobDBM addon? and if so don't I need to edit anything inside of the BobDBM ?

There is a skin implemented in Neav UI. Therefore you don't need a extra Addon. Unless you want another appearance

can someone refer to my question below, basically to sum it up.

In the same way that nPlates shows totem icon, I would love to add that in PvP if my enemy uses defensive cooldown, or offensive cooldown, that it shows an icon of that cooldown on top of nPlates? Is this easy to add by myself? Ideally to make it pretty I want the defensive cds like (shieldwall, all walls for other classes, evasion, etc) to be in blue border, whilest the offensive cooldowns such as (Berserk, reckless, etc) to be shown with red border.

if this is added then my life is complete (p.s. cant download plate buffs seperate addon, cuz it conflicts with this UI package and will keep crashing my WoW)

Well I don't see it being implemented anytime soon, not by me anyway. I'm barely playing at the moment, and my next effort will probably be to make it WoD compatible (whenever it goes live or I get a beta invite).

That's great. Hopefully it won't take much work to get it fully compatible with WoD. However I must admit haven't been keeping myself up to date with the changes to the API in WoD.

Unfortunately for you there's no configuration for that. But if you opening nChat/core.lua and remove the lines in red (the other's are just there for context) it will go away:

Code:
local f = CreateFrame('Frame')
f:RegisterEvent('ADDON_LOADED')
f:RegisterEvent('CHAT_MSG_WHISPER')
f:RegisterEvent('CHAT_MSG_BN_WHISPER')
f:SetScript('OnEvent', function(_, event)
    if (event == 'ADDON_LOADED' and arg1 == 'Blizzard_GMChatUI') then
        GMChatFrame:EnableMouseWheel(true)
        GMChatFrame:SetScript('OnMouseWheel', ChatFrame1:GetScript('OnMouseWheel'))
        GMChatFrame:SetHeight(200)

        GMChatFrameUpButton:SetAlpha(0)
        GMChatFrameUpButton:EnableMouse(false)

        GMChatFrameDownButton:SetAlpha(0)
        GMChatFrameDownButton:EnableMouse(false)

        GMChatFrameBottomButton:SetAlpha(0)
        GMChatFrameBottomButton:EnableMouse(false)
    end

    if (event == 'CHAT_MSG_WHISPER' or event == 'CHAT_MSG_BN_WHISPER') then
        PlaySoundFile('Sound\\Spells\\Simongame_visual_gametick.wav')
    end
end)

So I joined a dungeon in the middle of a fight and got this error. There are more errors but the only difference is "CompactRaidFrameX:ClearAllPoints()" or "CompactRaidFrameX:SetPoint()" or "CompactRaidFrameX:Show()".

Code:
2x [ADDON_ACTION_BLOCKED] AddOn "!Colorz" tried to call the protected function "CompactRaidFrame2:ClearAllPoints()".
