QuestGuru is a Quest Log Enhancer.
If you are looking for the "Classic" version of QuestGuru click QuestGuru_Classic
I have split off QuestGuru and QuestGuru Sounds into two separate addons that don't rely on each other so that the community that really missed the sounds can have them with me delaying them because of the qork being done on QuestGuru. I hope this makes at least some people happy.
You can click > QuestGuru Sounds
Note: If you like this addon, please "Like it" on Curse.com.
All Donations support me and I thank you in advance for it.

Re: no more announcer
Nothing has changed with the announcer for a while, so I'm not sure what you are asking me to reimplement, but the default for quest completion is "$qlink $complete!"

Achievement errors
If you are getting errors with the achievement tracker, or can't see the tracker at all, most likely you had been tracking an achievement that Blizzard decided to remove. If you are able to see the tracker, shift-click whatever achievement it is to untrack it. I'm looking into a way of having it automatically untrack achievements that no longer exist.

Try to delete all QuestGuru-related files in your WTF folder.

i'm having an issue with questguru only after this last patch.
in the quest log it has all the zones for the quest in my log but it says (0) next to them and does not show the quest. |

Love this addon! I always seem to come back to it.
My only gripe, is there are no commands that can be macroed. For example, I'd love to be able to type "/questguru announcer off" for instance to disable the quest progress announcements, as it gets spammy in instances, and navigating through the interface options is a pain and can take more clicks than I think are necessary. Any chance that could get implemented?

**EDIT UPDATE** I used a savedvariables client (Curse client has one built-in) to clean all QuestGuru savedvariables and it now seems to be working good. I would suggest anyone having this issue to do that and see if it fixes the problem.

Working on it...
I am working on a new version with bug fixes. I have been unable to duplicate the bug some people are seeing where a section will say you have zero quests when you do have quests.
If you are having problems with the tracker, such as achievement errors or it not showing up, go in to your "WTF\Account\[Account Name]\[Realm Name]\[Character Name]\Saved Variables" folder and delete the QuestGuru_Tracker.lua file. You will have to retrack any quests you want tracked and your settings will be set back to default, but it should take care of most people's problems. I haven't seen it mentioned here yet, but people on other sites are saying that after updating quests are no longer autotracking. If this is the case, go into the settings for the GAME, not QuestGuru, and check your settings in the Objectives section. |
