    For those Mages who think their spell icons could look just a little bit more fitting, I've modified some icons to fit our spells. To use these icons, you need to put them in your custom icon folder (world of warcraft/interface/icons/) or create it if it doesn’t exist.

    Update: You can now find a guide on how to create your own icons here!

    You can also find separate new icons here!

    17/6/2009: Added new icons for Scorch, Fireball, Pyroblast, Arcane Missiles, Dalaran Intellect and Dalaran Brilliance.

    21/4/2009: Added a new icon for Frostbolt.

    The look good from the screenshot. What is stopping me from trying them is my concern that there is only ten. I'm afraid I'd need twice or maybe three times that amount before I'd consider downloading. Please add more.

    i got it just for shits and gigs and i say they are nice only having that many though lol but still better than what they were

    You need to know how to use Adobe Photoshop. There are a few short guides out there, but it's really nothing more than compressing your image right.

    lol i had to say I love these, and soooo wish you'd make more *hint hint* ^^ My mage is so thankful...and sadly when I switched from frost to arcane, some of them aren't getting used =( lol I hope there's more in the future These are absolutely stunning! ^_^

    Could you please tell me how do you save (what program you use) successfully BLPs?? I have tried TGAs and BLPs without good results.

    They don't overwrite the path of any existing icons, so you have to use them in a macro and search for them in your list of icons.

    The problem with overwriting some icons is that they are shared by other classes' abilities, like Arcane Missiles share icon with Moonfire and it's rather odd to see the icon for Arcane Missiles when you are struck by Moonfire.
