Clean up your action bars!

DagAssist helps you clean up your interface by moving seldom used abilities to a discrete minimap menu. Simple drag & drop configuration, just like an action bar. Download, install and you're ready to go!

Works with spells, abilities, mounts, macros, companions, pet abilities, items, and gear sets.

Looked at the very few others ones I've seen...seems like people are having the same problem. So it might be dagassist I love this program, and I don't want to do without it...please help?

Also...Can you work again on Titan-Dagassist? Seriously, this would be extremely wonderful, and I'd appreciate it sooo much

Duping DA

I like this addon a ton, so much that I wanted to duplicate it. I wanted TWO little DA buttons with different stuff in them! So I made copies of every file. I went thru and changed every instance of DagAssist to OtherButton. I changed all DA_ to OB_ and renamed the folder as well.

But I get this when I mouseover the second button(first one works fine)

The menu is nonexistent. Now, I know little about coding, which is why I chose to modify yours rather than write my own, I just don't GET a bunch of things. But I would appreciate any advice on what to do to make this work.

Here's the relevant line in the file btw

Yours:

UPDATED: FIXED! my TOC had the menu file listed as OtherBottun_menu.lua

(It's just the DagAssist_Menu.lua file.) If the author wants me to take it down, I will. And Track Humanoids does, in fact, create a redundancy for hunters. Unfortunately, being a complete LUA n00b, I wasn't able to do much about that. I'd still like to see this edited to plug in to Fortress or something similar... you could always spin off your own version with plug in support to ldb/fubar/titan

you could always spin off your own version with plug in support to ldb/fubar/titan and call it SupidButtons! or something like that. :>

I would, but (as I stated) I'm a complete LUA n00b (read: learning everything from the ground up). The "patch" that I did was a minor edit to one a very simple file.

With that in mind...know of any tutorials?

Thanks for the update; I've edited the notes on my patch to state that it's now obsolete.

In terms of adding it to Titan/FuBar/LDB, what I had in mind was just making the drop-down menu itself accessible from the panel (as opposed to a separate button).

That's what I'd like to do, unfortunately if the button on the panel is unsecured (which it would be with Titan and FuBar as far as I can tell) then it won't work. LDB looks promising, there are a couple of other people that have done similar things. I'll be looking more into that soon.
