FlightMap is all about the flights you take in the World of Warcraft. It draws lines on the continent maps, showing you visually where you can fly from each zone as you mouse over them, as well as showing a window listing all the available destinations, their costs and their flight durations. On the zone level map, flight masters appear as small boot icons, allowing you to see where they are. During flights, a castbar-alike progress bar will show you how long is left on your current journey.

Use /fmap or /flightmap to bring up the options window, or use the myAddons support.

Many thanks to Thorarin (aka Marcel Veldhuizen) who not only reported bugs, but also reported their fixes, and who supplied the Alliance default data. Thanks also to Simon, who has helped immensely with the German translations. And of course, thanks to everyone who downloaded betas, put up with bugs and helped me fix them!

IMPORTANT: There were major internal changes between v53 and v1.7-1. If you are upgrading from a release earlier than the v84 beta, please note that your flights will not be visible until you visit at least one flight master per continent, and may not be fully visible again until you have visited them all. Your time data is not lost, however. If you prefer, you can remove the old FlightMap entirely, run WoW without installing the new version once (make sure to log a character in!) and then install the new version. This will give you the default data sets, which are reasonably complete for both factions.

Have you tried flying to LHC and talking to the gryphon master there; it may reset itself.

I didn't have that problem with mine; but I also have the default casting timer disable and it's only using the MetaHUD timer. So, not sure if that has anything to do with it.

I can see the icons on Kalimdore's map but I get no tooltips. I don't see any icons for sub-maps, e.g. The Barrens. Also, can the flight master icons be displayed on the minimap? That would rock. What other AddOns are you using that might be modifying gossip text? I can neither duplicate this bug, nor understand how it is even possible with the default UI -- something is calling GossipTitleButton_OnClick() with an invalid parameter.

Whenever Flightmap (2.1-1) is enabled certain (rare) NPC dialog boxes triggered by gossip choices aren't working. Examples where I could confirm this: 1. Alchemy spec mastery NPC's. When unlearning a mastery the gossip choice pops up a dialog box but confirming it doesn't trigger anything. 2. Speaking to the TCG/blizzcon npc and opening the secret code entering dialog box, the items don't get handed out when confirming. (Possibly there's easier to reach dialog boxes somewhere that suffer the same but I can't think of any.) I've nailed it down to flightmap causing this by extensive addon enabling and disabling on the ptr. Whenever the bug occurs, there is no error logged, not even a visible "addon mistake" taint-error that bugsack usually hides. Since debugging this might be a bit hard I can try to test any potential fixes that may come to your mind, pm me. The bug has been lingering in at least wow2.0.x for some time. Zidomo A Cliff Giant Forum posts: 76 File comments: 1046 Uploads: 0	FlightMap is no longer showing flight paths or mouse-over tooltips for flight locations at flight masters in conjunction with the new Cartographer (Rock version) in WoW 2.2. Can get that version of Cartographer from the Wowace SVN: http://files.wowace.com/Cartographer/Cartographer.zip. The flight master special icons this mod creates still show up on the Cartographer world map, but the tooltip showing destination info no longer shows up when mousing over the icons. Flight path lines no longer do either (this is with the options to show that data turned on in FlightMap's options, of course). The only things that still work are the in-flight timers and the additional info at the flight master windows, which are unconnected with the world map. All of the icons, the tooltip flight data & the flight lines work without problems on the default Blizzard world map. Last edited by Zidomo : 10-02-07 at 02:52 AM.

Changes to current live version: - new northrend zones and levels (and a fix for existing bug: Eversong Forest having been renamed Eversong Woods) - xml and widget api changes to make it compatible with the new client. - timer frame label changed to a format string that adds time-elapsed to the text for new routes with no recorded time. "(timing: xx:yy)" instead of just "(timing)". Known issues: - the Eastern Kingdoms flightmaster icons are out of whack on the continent level map(again). - there's some stuff missing from the pre-loaded flightmaster locations (all of northrend and some here and there on Azeroth/Outland). - enUS localization updated only. Only Outland and Northrend Alliance default data is included atm. I'll do a small update with Azeroth and Eastern Kingdoms Alliance data in a couple days. I've no plans to update the horde data as well myself - sorry. What this means for the user, is that my patch will work without errors on the beta, and will learn new flight nodes as you discover them, but pre-loaded flight data (times and costs) are only available for Northrend and Outland for Alliance only.
