AtlasToggle

Version: r3
by: Frayol [More]

Atlas v1.12.3 now includes LDB support directly. As such this mod is no longer needed once you upgrade to this version of Atlas or above.

AtlasToggle is a very small LibDataBroker based addon that does pretty much exactly what the names says. It toggles Atlas open and closed. It is my first addon, but hopefully not my last. Whilst I don't intend to expand it's functionality I am open to suggestions and ideas. To my knowledge there are no bugs with this, but if you do find any then please report them here.

I created this addon in order to allow the easy opening of Atlas as I have most of my minimap buttons switched off. Since I stopped using FuBar there was nothing else I found that would do this easily so I ended up creating AtlasToggle. Hopefully others will find this useful too.

In order to use this you will need both Atlas and a LibDataBroker display addon such as the ones shown in the screenshots which are MakeRocketGoNow and Fortress. Other display addons currently available are ButtonBin, Carousel, StatBlockCore and Titan Panel. All of these display addons are hosted here. As AtlasToggle doesn't actually display any information my personal preference is for using it with MakeRocketGoNow, but the choice is of course your own.

I would like to thank Beoko for his Navigator addon which gave me the initial idea of having a LibDataBroker addon that would open Atlas. VagrantEsha for actually encouraging me to make it myself. The final thanks goes to Tekkub without whose hard work this wouldn't have been possible.

If you would like to know more about LibDataBroker then I would suggest reading the excellent info provided by Tekkub which can be found here.

r3

* Updated TOC for Wrath.
* Updated embeds to correct an accidently introduced naming error and generally tidy things up.

**************************

r2

* Added right-click support for opening the Atlas options.
* Modified the tooltip display to show the click options.

**************************

r1

* Initial version.

Personally speaking I'd love to see it embedded with Atlas, but others may feel differently.

I've also finally got around to registering on the forum and putting the idea forward as a feature request.

Finally managed to find some free time to update this, although it worked fine as it was if out of date addons were loaded. However as I found that I had a naming error in the embeds (didn't cause any problems, but may have caused confusion) I've updated it.

It's good to know that others besides myself and my friends find this useful.

@Nihlo - I meant to a while back, but my mind is like a sieve so I keep forgetting. I did try after reading your comment, but it looks like either the forum has a problem or my connection does. If, as is likely, I forget again please feel to point Dan to this as I would be more than happy for him to incorporate a LDB plugin into Atlas and negate the need for this addon itself.
