KUnits is a simple unit frame addon based off Nurfed style unitframes. After I got tired of Nurfed breaking every patch I made my own. There are very few options. Type /kunits to see them all. Shift + Click a frame to move it. If you want to customize it you'll have to edit the xml file yourself. Enjoy!


Only works on WotLK (3.0)

- Added 6 more debuffs to target frame and 2 more to party frames
- Debuffs on target frame don't shrink now. They're displayed on 2 rows of 8.
- Hiding in raid works. Enable in blizzard options.
- Pet happiness fixed for real
- Fixed border colors on debuffs.

- Buffs added to focus
- Tooltips fixed on focus frame debuffs
- Clique supported

- Fixed pet happiness on pet frame (hopefully)
- Added an earth shield tracker above the player frame for shamans. It doesn't work perfectly but it's good enough.

- Fixed combo points, they're now in the bottom right of the target frame
- Made some optimizations to health/mana updating

- Updates health real time just like default frames.
- Default runic frame and totem frame added under player frame.

Clique

Love how these frames look. One problem though, I can't seem to get these to work with Clique, are they Clique friendly? If not any chance to get that added?

Some help requested!

Hello Kollektiv, and once again thanks for releasing an addon of yours.

I plan to start using these frames once the European Battlegroup I play on come up, however I have noticed a few things which I would like to remove or change the frames, but I have very little experience with working with the XML format when it comes to addons, and I can't even log on to experiment :/

If I wanted to remove my level from my Player frame, would I simply remove

The easiest way you could remove it is just go to line 755 and change it to

fontstringref_SetText(self.level,"")

and line 773 to

fontstringref_SetText(group,"")

I really didn't make these unit frames to be customizable.

I'll see what I can do about clique support.

first off thanks for a fantastic uf mod
there are two things that are problematic for me
1. auras on the target frame just get clamped in the same row instead of expanding to a 2nd or 3rd one
2. the lack of (simple?) ability to hide the party frames while in a raid

is there any chance these would be addressed? thanks =)

Hey, the unitframes are really cool nice work but I was wondering if there's a way to show the default color for the debuff border ? (for example, I'm a priest and all magical debuffs have their border in red instead of blue)
Also, is there a way to enable the aura cooldown for all buffs/debuffs? (since the 3.0 all buffs and debuffs have their aura cooldown on the default UI)

edit: nvm I just figured out how to do that !

edit2: actually the auras'/debuffs' cooldowns doesn't work great with spells that have no duration (like frost trap aura)

Hey, great addon. I like very much the simplicity of the unitframes, though I have couple requests. Could it be possible to add raid icon support for unitframes so they would show the icon in frame? Another request would be combat indicator to target and focus frame. I noticed that player frame had combat indicator but other frames lacked it. It would be great feature for rogue to see when target drops combat to get sap off. Thanks for this great addon

The only thing i really miss is the option to hide party-frame while in raid, otherwhise great addon, keep it up.

I'd like to second the motion for raid icon support. It's the only thing that strikes me as useful that it appears to be missing. Otherwise, it works wonderfully well!

At the Right of the target's portrait is the best imo.

Btw, if someone is wondering how to enable the cooldowns for all buffs and debuffs, just look in Kunits.lua for

if duration and duration > 0 and isMine then
CooldownFrame_SetTimer(_G[buttonname.."Cooldown"], expirationTime - duration, duration, 1)
else
frameref_Hide(_G[buttonname.."Cooldown"])
end

and delete the "and isMine", there's one isMine for debuffs and one for buffs so expect to delete 2 times "and isMine".
