by: tyeni [More]

This another oUF 1.3 Layout. It requires oUF by Haste. Again this is for 1.3 not 1.4 and so on...

oUF_MoveableFrames -- all frames moveable

I love this. Is there a way to disable party frames while in raid? I'm a healer, I use grid for group stuff, and seeing party and raid is a bit redundant.

Party frames are set to auto disable when you join a raid. They should do it automatically. a screenshot would help to see what you are talking about. if you are talking about raid frames to disable then you can disable them in the oUF_Config.lua

I found what you were talking about, I guess I had to relog or something after the change (I'd been using /rl ui), since it was doing it last night but not this morning.

Is there a way to disable the party frames entirely?

Maybe I'm a crazy person, but I couldn't find any option to make the bars actually go down as health and mana drained. Is this enabled somewhere?

That is an automatic thing that should be happening at all times. Part of any unit frame addon.

This is why I thought I was crazy. They weren't. I was only getting the numbers and a full bar.

around lines 678 in oUF_Pealr.lua you can comment out

Code:

	local info = SetFontString(self.Health, font, 16, 'outline')
	info:SetPoint('CENTER')
	info.frequentUpdates = 0.25
	self:Tag(info, '[threat]|cffff0000[( )pvp]|r')

Got it! I still had "SmoothUpdate" installed from a previous layout, that, I presume, was conflicting with "Smooth."

Quick question, where would I find the height width of the frames? Setting the scale is only getting me so far, and I wanted to know if there was a way to directly change the height and width of the frames. Thanks a bunch!

Hey, totally love this layout! It's simply everything I wanted and more!

I do have two questions I'd like your input about if you may:

1- I believe the party frames have the party-target to the right, and party-pet to the left. The target is more than welcome, in fact it's a big help, but I'd like to get rid of the party pets. Is this possible, how if so?

2- I do have a very nice Grid setup for when I'm in a raid and the healing works out very well that way, but is there some way such that 10 man raids will have the party frames not only enabled, but all 10 players are listed in the same 5 player layout?

What I'm asking for the second point, I guess is, can one make a 10 player raid setup to look just like the normal party setup, but support 10 entities instead?

you can go to the oUF_pearl.xml and delete the parent pet portion of the oUF_pParty

Code:
<Button name="$parentPet" inherits="SecureUnitButtonTemplate">
<Anchors>
        <Anchor point="TOPRIGHT" relativePoint="TOPLEFT" relativeTo="$parent">
	<Offset>
	<AbsDimension x="-30" y="0"/>
	</Offset>
	</Anchor>
</Anchors>
<Attributes>
	<Attribute name="hide-health-text" type="boolean" value="true" />
	<Attribute name="unitsuffix" type="string" value="pet"/>
	<Attribute name="useparent-unit" type="boolean" value="true"/>
	<Attribute name="type1" type="string" value="target"/>
	<Attribute name="initial-unitWatch" type="boolean" value="true"/>
</Attributes>
</Button>
the rest is alot of trial and error coding in oUF_Pearl.lua to get what you are looking for.
