Version: v0.7-beta

Nice addon... There are a few formatting characters in the tooltip, though. (%s) Also, sometimes the minimap icon appears and sometimes it doesn't.

Great Addon. This is probably one of the most wanted things as of late.

As the previous poster stated though, It does not seem to always move the icon from the minimap.

I do not use the defauly minimap so that could be the problem.

What would you think about combining some ideas from LFGStatusIcon and Ara Broker XP?

My idea is to use the plugin text area (that currently says "In Queue - Waiting (2 Min 38 Sec)") to display more helpful information -- current group assembly status, a la LFGStatusIcon. That way you don't have to mouse over it to see what you're still missing, and you'll see when you start filling with DPS, indicating that your dungeon is close to popping.

And I think that information would be wonderfully represented by a little block ASCII character, or if that's not localizable, a single pipe as in Ara Broker XP would still be just fine. Just some plain text character, colored to represent classes would be wonderful. Gray for unfilled, blue for tank, green for heals, and red for dps.

Any chance of you implementing this? As an option? If I did it myself and sent a patch file to you for distribution?

Edit: Here's an idea for another completely different way to display the plugin text to be more useful than just your current queue time: Divide the number of seconds you've been in queue by the average number of seconds it takes to queue as the role with the shortest queue time, and display the resulting ratio as a percentage. e.g., My Shaman queues as Heals and DPS. Average DPS queue time is 10 mins, heals is 2 mins. Since I've been in the queue for 30 seconds now, the plugin text will show "25%", and I can see how quickly I progress through the line.

Hello,

The latest version doesn't seem to have its own folder when extracted.

Then why use the word Broken at all? I immediately thought this addon had to do with a broken feature in the LFD tool, until I read the addon description. . Your going to have people that automatically assume the same as well. I seriously don't understand why you decided to name it what you did. Oh well...

Either way, I've been waiting for an addon like this since the LFD tool came out.

Well, there is one aspect of the LFD system I actually do find to be broken. That part is the queue times for the 3 roles. Why does blizzard provide the information in it's API, yet not use it in the default UI ?

Option to disable the Not Queued text and LFD Party text? I like my broker addons to just display an icon until they have some info to impart.

Awesome addon, tho.

As brknsoul said; I too would love the option to cut down on the info to a minimum when there's nothing of importance to show.

Also, I'd love a few options regarding the text.
Option to remove the timer from the tooltip.
Option to disable the second count in the timer.

Possibility to make it a "Right-side plugin" with Titan Panel would be much appreciated.

Time: 02/09/10 18:19:41
Count: 1
Stack: [C]: in function `assert'
Interface\AddOns\Broken_LFD\core.lua:9: in main chunk

Locals: (*temporary) = nil

Sorry Typo in Toc file, LDB's folder is "LibDataBroker-1-1", not "1.1"
