SBF has a maintainer!
I have to say, I am amazed by the number of people who just kept plugging along. It makes me feel bad that I do not have the time to keep working on this myself - you guys are all awesome! The good news is that a new maintainer has been found. Meet father0fnine, who is taking over SBF. I'm sure you'll all show him as much love as you showed me all these years
SBF 3.2 with clickable buffs

I just respecced my druid and picked up Improved Mark of the Wild. When I cast the buff, the buff icon and tooltip still show the original buff (instead of the improved buff), despite the fact that my character sheet shows that I have the improved buff on me.
Is this an issue with SBF? Or what's the story? Can I not make the tooltip read correctly? |

Is it possible to set up borders around the bars? I love everything about the addon but that's one thing I haven't figured out yet ;P If anyone could help I would appreciate it.

Why is the Argent Shield buff not showing up from in ToC Reg and Heroic? As well as a few others that are on timers from quests/instance?

WoW crashed during a /reloadui, all SBF profiles deleted, got the welcome message on next log in...
It's going to be fun spending a few hours recreating them all, for sure. Needed to vent somewhere |

Collours.
Everything is working perfectly, I can adjust it exactly teh way I want up to one thing.. The BUFF's are not colloured to the type they are (Weapons buffs = Purple , Magic Buffs = Blue , Non dispellable grey, etc etc) I really really wish you could make it like that, because at this time its very unclear if I actually have a weapon buff or not..

can it be done
Before I embark on this project, I wanted to bounce this off you Satrina, to see if it's even doable. I want to make a customized buff frame for IBF and VB durations. What I want them to look like are long, vertical bars, BUT as they deplete, I would like the frame of the bar to have a BF border that remains visible until the buff expires completely. something like this: http://img402.imageshack.us/img402/8016/95472136.jpg

Hi I've read the known issues, and the upcoming features, and I didn't see this answered. If there was a search option in WoWI comments....
Anywho, I have a question I'm sure is often answered, so I apologize in advance. Is there anyway to make a child frame appear below the parent frame, similar how the default debuffs appear underneath the buffs, and will move down when you have more than one row of buffs? I like the flowing, but I want the debuffs to be on the next line, not on the same line as the buffs. Is this a planned feature in a future version that I missed in the planned features section?

I love this addon. I wonder, though, if certain changes could be added to make it a bit more useful to me.
1. Conditional Filters A unique tab (perhaps called "LUA") could be added where LUA coding can be used to specify any number of conditions for which certain buffs/debuffs will appear. Provide a way to name these conditional statements and then allow those names to be used in the 'Filter' tab. An example of how this could be useful to me: I'm a resto druid (main spec) feral dps (off spec) but I use the same SBF layout for both specs. As feral, I like to see when certain debuffs are present on my targets (Trauma/Mangle for example) which would be useless for me to see as resto. Likewise, as resto I like to see when certain buffs are on me (replenishment, mana tide, etc) that I don't need to see as feral. With the LUA filter addition to SBF, I could perhaps create the following filters (this won't be proper LUA coding, but you should get the idea): Name: MangleBot If HasEnergy("player") then n~"Mangle" n="Trauma" End - This madeup code would check to see if I'm in cat form ("HasEnergy") and if that's true it will use the SBF filters 'n~"Mangle"' and 'n="Trauma"' Name: Resto If HasMana("player") then n="Replenishment" n~"Mana" End 2. Suppress/Replace Redundant Icons It would be nice if a filter could be set up to show one particular image whenever a buff/debuff is present, and allow for the ability to suppress redundant buffs/debuffs. For example, since Trauma has the same effect as Mangle, I would prefer to see the Mangle icon any time either debuff is present and I'd like to not have both debuffs show if both happen to be up at once. 3. Copy Layout Settings I use similar layout settings (how and were the buffs/debuffs are shown) between each of my toons, but I have different filters set for several of them. It would be nice to be able to copy the positioning of one toon's layout without also copying that toon's filters or overriding the current toon's filters. As far as I know, the only way to copy settings between toons is to copy the other toon's profile, which copies (and replaces all settings). 4. Re-implement a "Buff" / "Debuff" filter I realize that 'h' was once used to filter debuffs, which is no longer used because of the option to click a checkbox and show only buffs or debuffs. But I am trying to make a buff/debuff frame for my target that shows only buffs if the target is friendly and shows only debuffs if the target is hostile. I tried using the following filters: harm&h help&!h Obviously that didn't work since 'h' is no longer recognized. Sorry for the wall of text and ty for your time and for this great addon. |

Is there a way to display both vehicle buffs and player buffs in the same frame while using a vehicle?
(e.g. [vehicle buffs here][player buffs here]) I have tried flowing a frame set to show vehicle buffs into one set not to, except the parent frame (of course) will not show the vehicle buff. Am I missing something simple here? |
