oGlow  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)

Version: 2.2.5
by: haste [More]

oGlow will light up your items, by adding a quality border to them. It will only display this border for common quality items and above.

It will currently only display the quality borders on the following places:
* Inventory
* Inspect
* Bank
* Guild bank
* Bags
* Mail
* Merchant
* Trade
* Professions
* Character fly-out
* Character
* Loot
* Void storage

I will make it support some other frames also, but this is it for now.

i was wondering if it's possible to get a different colour border for ICC (ilvl 251) or above items. it would help distinguish the gear people have when inspecting them.

if it's not possible, no worries, I'll continue to use this great addon anyway.
thanks again for making it!

Obscure filters is something that's easily supported with the next release, but as stated below that's kinda floating between other things currently.

For me with patch 3.3.3 it still works only the inspection window doesnt show oglow anymore. This works on 1 client but not on the other one, i dont have a clue wich other addon could cause that.

If anyone can send me in a direction where i could search for would be really appriciated.

Any chance for an update for 3.3.3? A toc bump or something.

I really cant play without this addon, takes forever to find stuff in the bags w/o it.

Awesome addon!

It still works for 3.3.3, and I don't do TOC updates, so just check "Load out of date addons". <Insert something about next release not being vaporware>.

No, it looks pretty horrid with that enabled imo.

Heroic epic items

So, do you think there would be a non-terrible way to show heroic-epic items? A smaller green border inside the purple border? Green corners? Is it a waste of time? Would it look terrible anyway? xD

I get this error when I visit a guild bank with Bagnon_GuildBank enabled. Somehow Bagnon_GuildBank screws up the loading of Blizzard_GuildBankUI, where MAX_GUILDBANK_SLOTS_PER_TAB needed in the for loop is. Disabling Bagnon_GuildBank or replacing MAX_GUILDBANK_SLOTS_PER_TAB with 98 makes the error go away.

My error report is far more useful than Elegant's!

It's already fixed on git, but that version is still incomplete, so no new release has been pushed .

Showing a skull where the quest item ! usually is sounds like a better solution. It would be possible with the next release, but I've been putting my time on other add-ons and projects mostly.

I'm not too surprised. CC changes quite a lot of the default UI, compared to LK.

If you want to test oGlow on CC I'd suggest that you use the git version. The version here on WoWI is quite different.

I'll probably have a look at what CC breaks during the weekend.
